Hello and I hope you all are having a nice day. Here are my laptop specs. HP probook 4530s Intel(R) Core i3-2310M CPU @2.10GHz RAM 4.00GB(2.94 usable) 32 -bit operating system. Now, I have been playing planetside 2 for quite a long time, around 5 months, and I've had various errors and things that i've sorted out myself or lived with them. This however I have no way to sort it out. I recently uninstalled the game and reinstalled it using the installation files downloaded from the planetside 2 website since steam downloads took forever. After the updates, I press play and then it goes into a game is loading mini-window then the launcher disappears. After that, the game just doesn't load. I go to the task manager and I can clearly see the planetside 2 process taking up most of the physical memory. I sorted it out previous times by restarting my pc but now that method doesn't work anymore. Any help will be appreciated.
I can confirm this is a general error. I have the steam client and after todays update I: 1) Start the launcher 2) Press Play on launcher 3) Go into character screen and select a character 4) Loading screen for Amerish goes up to ~12% 5) Game crashes without any error or hint what has happened 6) Launcher crashes as well without any message My specs: Windows 7 (64-bit) Intel(R) Core i5-2500K @3.30GHz 8 GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570
Actually, I solved the problem. I had to download 2 files and do a validate game assets and the game was back to normal.
