Game is reinstalling itself for no reason

Since the latest patch this morning about an hour ago, I came back in to play and now the game is doing a complete reinstall from the launchpad of 8.6 gigs. I have no idea why and this could cause problems for people with bandwidth limitations. Anyone else experience this problem?

I'm currently in this download as well. It seems several people are having this issue.

Same issue, downloaded a patch (looked small) then I didnt pay attention for couple of hours.
Pressed play and boom... Installing blah of 8,667MB 14% complate and the popup "game is starting" ... do I cancel/kill it ?

HEY GUYS TO FIX IT DO THIS:

On the Launch Pad there is a rench symbolizing settings, click it.

Then click validate game assets (Or something close to that)

And let it check the files you have and you are fine

I tried that, it still wants to reinstall.

Yes 41mb patch or Hotfix and after this 8.667mb patch. wtf

Hey mine is too, the game designers are working on the game and got it running a lot better though they had some tech issues and are probably doing their best to get it back, this is a beta and is in development, try clearing your cookies, restart your pc and router, and if that does not work there servers may be down for maintenance. oh and what Dario said.

Tried it a 2nd time. 151 mb of patching and got in game, so you may need to validate more than once to get game to work.
