I get the same issue! I was on a break from PS2 for a week or two and when I come back, this is what I get.Hope it gets fixed soon or I can't play the game.I think Drathamus also had a simular issue and couldn't play as well.For me it's yellow four-anglular objects(I have no idea how they're called in english)that keep appearing and disappearing every several miliseconds.There's also broken icons, the escape key doesn't work, and while I can log into my account, I can't enter my characters.When I try to do so, the game gives me a loadinng screen.When that screen reaches somewhere betweeen 20-30%, I get a CTD with no error message.
They finally managed to not only break gameplay but to destroy the whole game. CTD at 5% for me since last patch without even reaching character selection.
