Been getting a lot of crashes since the game went live (had no crashes during Beta). The culprit: PhysX3Common_x86.dll The crashes are completely random. Big fight, driving a vehicle, browsing the in game map, standing still in the middle of nowhere, etc. I'd say the frequency is once every 45-115mins Fault Module Name: PhysX3Common_x86.dll Fault Module Version: 3.2.0.1 Fault Module Timestamp: 50a3e41d Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 00042595 OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 0a9e Additional Information 2: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 Additional Information 3: 0a9e Additional Information 4: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 Specs: Win7 64-bit Radeon HD 7850 All game settings on Highest. If you have an AMD video card, uninstall nvidia physx, play the game see if helps to stop those crashes.
Im on a Nvidia card.. Did read somewhere that it might have with admin in windows, and i figured that as i ran it tru steam it wouldent start it as admin. I tried starting it from the folder without steam, and just now it crashed again, so atleast its not that..
What version of the Nvidia drivers are you using? You can also clear out any potential file corruption by reinstalling the PhysX software available on Nvidia's website. If that does not resolve it, please open support tickets and include your full DXDIAG/MSINFO files.
Same here, beta went smooth, since release it crashes with that PhysX error. Reinstalled nvidia drivers (last beta ones special for PS2) with no luck
I've been having this problem too, beta ran fine. As per WeEdNL's suggestion, I'm going to try completely uninstalling PhysX and sweeping it with Driver Sweeper to see if that helps (already tried re-installing it, no dice). Win 7 64-bit, crossfired 6870's
I set PhysX in nVidia control panel to CPU and it lasted a bit more (finally got bad rendering although no crash, I had to exit however due to I could not see anything). Maybe just luck as it is a random crash. Try it for yourself. The error I got then was StackHash_0a9e
Posting again to confirm that uninstalling PhysX fixed the problem; played for around two hours (and let it run for an additional hour while I was doing something else) yesterday night without any problems whatsoever. Until either nVidia or SoE fix the issue on their end, uninstalling is probably the best option.
Well, i didn't change anything on my computer sence the launch, and now i dont get any crashes, so something must have been down serverside, great job SOE !
I'm getting the exact same problem, I added my dxdiag file and msinfo, still searching for a fix! Anyone manage to fix theirs yet?
