Have there been any advances on using joysticks or game controllers with PS2? I am still very much a mouse/keyboarder, but would like to know if we have real options yet.
That's what they're doing on PTS as I understand it.... More console/PC code merge, this time with some vehicle and control handling. End result should be better gamepad support for whatever THAT is worth.
I use an Xbox 360 Thrustmaster GTX controller. Just Keybind the buttons to what you need and kick ***. Mind you the controller is mainly for movement(sprint, crouch, crouch toggle, throw grenade, etc...)and other utilities NOT for LOOKING. You have to use the mouse in PS2 or you will get owned as the controller suffers from a delay during input to actual movement. I don't seem to experience any issues other than not having enough buttons on the controller to bind for everything. It isn't for everyone but it's functional for me.
