Did you know tanks can capture objectives too?
  2. Jaloro

I did. It only serves to make my example worse.

I always try to avoid people on foot or ATV's, but sometimes they just run into me or pop up just as I pass, I actually don't see them and just get a popup telling me I killed a friendly.

This goes both ways really. Yes, there are tank drivers (or even sundy drivers) that don't give a **** and will just plow through friendlies. There's also people on foot that just don't give a **** either and decide to zig zag across the road just as a 10 tank column approaches.

Had a guy once that was standing in the middle of the road, and since I was on Indar in the SE, cramped area, the road was pretty much all there was.
So I get close to him with my Vanguard, hoping he notices and moves away. The dude turns around, looks at me, then turns around again and just stands there. I start nudging him a little but he's still just standing there. I swear some people are just asking for it.

    Mostly goo.

Well, there is no such thing as a driver's license on Auraxis, no rules of the road and no prison for causing an accident where someone gets killed.
The only rule there is is that the heavier things have a heavier push.

This thread gives me the idea of firing warning shots at people if I see them early enough to do something, but too late to avoid them (sometimes that's a good 1-2 seconds).
It's natural for people to stop seeing an explosion, so the gun might work as a horn substitute (luckily AP shells have an explosion animation even though they're kinetic rounds with no big blast on impact).
I'll do a little experiment today if I run into a kamikaze roadrunner.

I'm not careful on roads much. If someone runs into a road not looking both ways then they should learn not to do so. Now other then that people should be careful. Lucky for me I'm a sundy and stop to pick them up.

In 200 hrs I think I've been run over by vehicles maybe 4 or 5 times (excluding vehicle launch pads), and TBH I can't even remember the last time it happened. Tanks need space to operate, give it to them. A tank that's scared of running over friendlies is a dead tank. You can see them, you can hear them, most likely they can neither hear nor see you.

    (btw I don't use tanks)

To be honest I think I've been run over by people on ATV's more often than Tanks or Sundy's. Personally I treat all vehicles like a hostile that needs to be evaded.

In certain circumstances I do drive tanks... and the amount of times there is a cluster waiting for an airstrike because the road is full of infantry is.. shall we say more than common. A lot of that is Engineers... I'll brake guy comes running right up to the front of my tank for no apparant reason and pulls out a repair tool. Which is nice when you need repairs but charging the front of a fully repaired tank is somewhat suicidal... then again every other class does it at times.

    I hate roads...

    1) You get run over
    2) tons of mines
    3) tons of planes over them looking for vehicles

So when we are pushing bad the ZERG or holding our ground defending a base there is no point as you clearly no what you are on about we are useless yes it has all become clear to me now....

They don't read the forums. Too much effort.
