Welcome to the FreeForm Outfit Recruitment Thread! About Us We were founded about two weeks ago, and have over 400 members. (434 when I last checked) We are fairly casual, but usually have an organized squad or platoon going. Our system makes it very easy to become a leader in the community if you show the initiative to, and we are very welcoming. We have weekly events such as Big Platoon Sundays, Training Tuesdays (my personal favorite), and we love to have a great time within our community. Requirements Hop in a squad! FreeForm Outfit Open Squad is usually running, and just ask for an invite. You can also find anyone with [FRFM] as a tag and ask for an invite. We don't require mics or anything such as that, but they will make life easier for you if you don't have to type everything. You can also post on here and I'll send you a friend request, though I probably will only check the forums once or twice a day, so it may be a while. Ranks Recruit: The entrance level, everyone gets in, and very few things will get you removed from it. (Constant griefing, spamming outfit chat, those types of shenanigans) Rescue Ranger: The average rank, you get to this just by participating in a squad. This is how we sort random people who somehow stumbled into the outfit from those who actually want to do outfit-related things. (Don't mind the name, we just wanted something more exciting than Member.) Community Leader: This is for people who not only participate, but actively step up, help beginners, and lead. Supreme Council: The elite group of members who are always helping, supporting others, and leading the community. At one point we may initiate some type of election for these spots, but at the moment they are assigned by me. Holy Emperor: Me. I took a vote in our squad day and decided Holy Emperor was a suitable title for myself. (I'm a very modest person.) In Closing We are a changing community that grows and develops every day, and we can give everyone what they want. If you want to go hardcore and use advanced tactics, we already have a member who is running very organized max drops, and just because he took the initiative to do so. If you have the idea and the competence, you can do the same. If you want something casual, go for it, any and all ideas are encouraged. Make the change you want to see in our community, and we'll give you the resources to do so.
I'd like to know what kind of voice system you guys use, TS, Ventrilo, mumble, raidcall etc? Also I sent a friend request in-game using your forum name. Hope that's the correct one, my in-game is AceBringer.
At the moment we don't have anything but the in-game voice system, but we are certainly looking to change that shortly.

Yah Bumblesting, I didn't even know there was a MOTD. The way I organize things for sports is by getting everyone's availability and then choosing timeslots to play. I think emailing members is an easy way to get the message out there to people so they can be made aware and easily remember when we're going to be on.
