Windows 8 Core i5 3570K OC to 4.2Ghz GTX670 -Driver 314.22 16 gigs DDR3 1600 PS2 on seperate SSD 1920X1080 Everything set to high, PhysX enabled/disabled makes no difference. Currently averaging 20-30 fps almost everywhere except the warpgate on indar. About a month ago I would average 50-60 and maybe dip to 40 on heavy fights. So, I figured I'd just let the devs know. I have no interest in turning down graphics or turning off foliage etc. If it worked before, it should work now. Please fix. Thank you.
Do you have Vsync on? I am also running max with PhysX on my 670 and without Vsync I get about 90 in normal fights and dips down to 40-50 in intense fights. Guess some have it better than others..
One the one hand, I think that they are really really trying to make the best effort they can with the engine that they were given. On the other hand, the game has absolutely plummited in performance for a lot of people ever since release and every patch seems to successfully revert the improvements they made earlier and add 2-3 different issues. I'd like to think that theyre doing all they can, but if this 'all they can', it becomes a question of competence. I dont think that they go 'okay, lets do the use: smoke a bowl, then surf the internet for 8 hours. Oh, and can someone please make a few new weapons?' every time they go to work. And yet this is the impression that people get. Oh well, I hope the absolute catastrophy that the e-sports ambitions will end in, will be somehat of a wakeup call for SOE. A change of priorities is an absolute necessity. Or do you think ANYBODY was like 'aw man, we dont have enough WEAPONS!' before they released the NS carbine?
Vsync is a must in this game! I'm tired of all these threads complaining about fps issues. To all you people ******** about poor performance, turn your showfps off! You will enjoy the game a lot more and won't be so damn **** about fps. When you got 200+ people in one area, of course you're going to see fps drop!! Refuse to lower the graphics settings?? Stop ******** on the forums then!
Did you even read what I said? This is not so much of a complaint, as it is something to raise awareness to my particular issue. Vsync is a must my ***, you obviously did not read my post at all or you would have read that I was attaining much higher fps a few months ago, same size 200+ battles, same computer, the only change is the software. And please, I dont need an FPS counter to know when I'm at 20 fps, chop is quite noticeable. I dont know why you want people to stop posting technical issues in a technical issues forum, but maybe you should go find yourself a troll forum somewhere.
Go to your useroptions and try setting it to ultra settings. I actually get better fps with ultra settings.
