Hi, Got 2 things on my plate here, lets start with the Phoenix. The Phoenix doesnt put you in the missile" every other shot. The first shot you take it works as it should, the second it just drops down, not allowing you to guide it, and then the third it works as it should again, etc etc. Not sure if others have the same issues, but i've had it since the last patch, prior to that it worked OK. Second issue. I lose alot in fps sometimes. After playing for give or take 30-40 minutes, i notice significant drops in fps when turning arround, running, switching weapons, aiming, it goes on. I updated my drivers and closed other programs to see if there was a conflict. Trying to avoid a re-instal because thats just horrible to do. My system spec: Asus X99-A Intel i7 5930K LGA2011-V3 (@ 4.2GHz) Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR4 2666MHz (4x4GB) Corsair HX1000i High Performance Sapphire Radeon R9 290 Vapor-X 4GB (x2 cards in crossfire)
I think the game is still broken from the last patch. If you have been reading other posts you'll notice that constant crashes, missing textures and other things not working properly are popping up a lot.
Here's a fix for fps issues https://www.reddit.com/r/Planetside/comments/410ig4/temporary_fix_for_the_100_cpu_issue/
I'm not sure that applies to me because PS2 only uses between 15 to 25% of my CPU maximum, with maybe a random 5 sec spike to 27% / 28% that never lasts longer then 5sec nor is occurring often or giving me weird fps drops.
small update; tried changing settings to the lowest possible, but doesnt help in the end. At first i do get 140-170 fps instead of 100-140 (everything maxed), but after 40 minutes it gives me these weird fps issues again regardless. Also, i noticed that this happens everytime the game is using initial memory use from start-up +1GB. Having everything on low, i start out with 2.4GB ish in memory use, and it starts acting weird at 3.4GB. With everything on high it starts out at 3.2GB in memory and starts acting weird at 4.2GB..... Any help? :\ EDIT: I am using DDR4 but that should be a problem right? :|
