Forward Grip for Short Range BASRs

Does this thing even has any effect on the short range BASRs since PU2? It used to alter the sway pattern before the patch.

I had heard about it supposedly affecting the scope sway, though never tested it myself and it doesnt say anything in the description. Of course, the low optic bolt actions no longer have sway anyway and since you have to unscope to chamber your next round...it's completely useless.

I use it on my Spectre but I couldn't tell you for sure if it makes a difference.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Spectre is the default semi auto sniper rifle for VS? If so, yes the forward grip will have an affect on the horizontal recoil of that weapon. On bolt actions, there is no follow up shot without unscoping and chambering the next round so horizontal recoil is a non issue for these rifles. And again, any optic 4x or less has NO sway (well, except for very minimal sway on the night vision).

So for your low optic bolt actions, get the optic you like the best and maybe a suppressor for closer sniping behind enemy lines. That's all ya need.
