First let me sayt, that if its already been answered somewhere else, sorry for not seing it. I couldn't find any threads that seemed to go into this, anywhere with the search function. Now with that having been said.... What does it do? Is it only Horrisontal Recoil that is reduced? or is there some other hidden effect like softpoint ammo? Mostly asking since weapons that have 0 horisontal recoil can get this attachment too. but I wonder what the point would be on those weapons.
There are no weapons with zero horizontal recoil, just weapons that have an average zero horizontal recoil.. That is, they bounce to the left and right equally much over time. Some people call this "perfect vertical recoil", but they are mistaken --- And yes, it's supposed to reduce that effect, but I have not been able to verify it myself. The people who believe it works say the effect is "very marginal" and that it only happens at "very long ranges" pretty much (and at those ranges Cone of Fire has a much larger impact in any case, while single shots are always perfectly accurate in ADS if you let the recoil settle).
I use it on the NS-11, and it's a little noticeable. Before it it would go up to the left at around 20 degrees, now it's around 10 degrees, so close it's marginal, at range it helps.
