[BUG] For those who believe NC whiners (balance of small arms).

    I read a lot that everything is balanced. I decided to put an end to the dispute. The simplest method. As we compare similar weapons from all factions. I took the carbines to 250 CP.
    The order of the.
    Damage. Rate of fire. The rate of recharge. Accuracy. Clip size.
    Tac 5AMC... Damage. 9 ... Rate of fire. 10 . The rate of recharge. 11 . Accuracy 17 . Clip size. 40
    AC-X11........ Damage. 17 . Rate of fire. 4 ... The rate of recharge. 11 . Accuracy 14 . Clip size. 20
    Pulsar C...... Damage. 12 . Rate of fire. 8 .... The rate of recharge. 12 . Accuracy 17 . Clip size. 30

    As seen by the ratio for the same time Tac cause 22.5 points of damage (2.5 shots), Pulsar - 24 (2 shots), and AC-X11 only 17. In this case, Tac and Pulsar have much higher accuracy and more clip size ...
    And what's the balance we have?

    Small mistake. There's not Tac5 there T5 AMC ... I hope this is not so important.

    And you are basing this... on the screenshots of in-game rating bars?

    When 91% of all text in Planetside 2 is lies?

    And you don't even know what the bars are supposed to represent relative to what?

    You can't be ******* serious.

    Pulsar C is a weird choice for a VS carbine to be basing stats on. The majority of VS carbines are a lot weaker, are a lot harder to aim at mid ranges and chew your ammo extremely fast if you miscalculate your shot. They are a lot better at close combat of course, which Pulsar C suffers, in comparison.

    The majority of VS carbines are meant to be hip fired. Pulsar C seem to be the only exception and is the exact other way round.

    I understand that you're trying to compare similar weapons from all three factions, but wouldn't it make more sense to compare either the default weapons or the typical behavior of each faction's weapons?

    I had to look for a theme before finding ... quickly they fall.

    Yesterday and did not have time to answer, but was able to compare the new data to the game.

    I was surprised that the game has such features. However, this table is just not exact.
    According to the table AC-X11 should be firing speed of ~ 8.3 shots per second. In fact, his rate of about 3-4 rounds per second. Also, if for every hit compare the difference in damage is not that big. 200 in AC-X11 at the Pulsar 167 and 143 at T5 while the speed difference of almost 1-1.7 round in the second ...
    Visually the difference is greater than feelings.

    I compared counterparts. Since they eventually have to be similar opportunities. And it is over 250 weapons with the most notable qualities belonging faction. If these weapons are not balanced between. Then talk about anything is ridiculous.

    PS. I did not understand. AC-X11 with close loss in 200 should kill in one shot? Or here for 600 hp on player?

    The spreadsheet is data ripped from the game files.

    Do not place observations and hearsay above the actual game data files.

    All right. Tell which file in the game I can see them for comparison?

    PS. If so then I'll stop arguing. Only without the say-so.
    Or let one of SOE employees confirm that the map in the game is not right, and these data are correct.

    The only thing that isn't balanced is the shakey camera effect when taking hits.

    I observed myself tonight getting one-shotted by a Magrider while I was holding an AF-19 Mercenary. Obviously lthe AF-19 is underpowered and needs a buff!! UNPLAYABLE!!

    this data is extracted from game files. there could be additional vars - but its the same technique used for BF3 data sheets, and many people consider them true.. or at least close enough to the true thing anyway... the ingame diagrams are only low resolution of those numbers...

    I thought use head. If the data is displayed in the game is not exactly it is also a mistake.
