For the Love of God VS Maxes are OP...

    I was only repaired when I charged back into the spawn room. That's not really asking a lot though and I don't think it makes this being possible any less silly.

    Eh, I think ravens just need to have faster projectile speeds, its not that they're weak but rather they're slow and its just annoying when you finish your reload before the last rocket hits your target. Means you stay up as much as possible in the open.

    Ravens are fine. Changing the speed in either direction would be a nerf. Making them quicker would make for less time for corrections. Making them slower would make them harder to hit fast moving targets. They're in a sweet spot right now.

    But back on topic, the OP isn't a troll, his outfit just doesn't teach their members how to do anything. Don't blame him, blame his outfit.

    Just because people say it's grass is greener syndrome, doesn't mean it is.

    Comets and vortexes need some dps hits against tanks. But, to be very specific and fair, VS maxes are way too OP against vehicles, while NC and TR are somewhat too OP against vehicles. I say, nerf max DPS overall, but make them properly immune to regular bullets, so that you need tanks/AV to do serious damage.

    Still are you ******* kidding me? Haha let me tell you as a cobalt player (who ranks himself as pretty terrible at this game) I..can down a max solo as heavy assault from his blind side with almost no effort.

    Sure if theres one well placed in a room with his buddies (nc ones I find the worst for this) then I pull comet max and rush them.

    You know how much time a squad of jesters take to take me out on route to do that? almost instantly. Im lucky if I get the kill with the amount of C4 round the corners or people dropping in from behind while im at it.. boom insta kill.

    Now yes I may not be like mattiace, farming away. But guess what? most other players arent either. And they get their maxes *** handed to them quick time.

    Tl:dr - you must be worse at the game than me. Take your head out of your *** and learn to play.

    (if anything skill suit is worse than HA. Considering my HA drives my K/D upward alot more than my MAX.. well maybe I just suck as a max but really, some maxes ive dropped were BR 100's with lots of play time. I think personally that you are going to nerf this game into its grave and ruin the diversity to the point no other play style exists except your own. Who you going to pick on next when maxes go, pilots and then tankers? Go scrubs go)

    I disagree, trying to kill an NC max is the hardest.

    They are only ever used at great distance (ravens; which should be banned) which the same applies for other maxes, very hard to kill.
    Or they are used in short/insta-kill range.

    Atleast with other maxes I can confront for that slight second I need to through my AV nade or use my launcher. With an NC max it's impossibru

    MAXs have an option to be (strictly speaking) dedicated AV (results obviously vary, see: Pounders) and in the past when the tanks were made of paper and the MAXs had less AV damage output than they do now, nobody used MAXs for AV. It was simply more efficient to use a lock on, C4 or play dumbfire peekaboo.

    And tanks, believe it or not, do not exist to be dedicated MAX busters. And the simple notion of making MAXs completely immune to small arms is enough to wreck the game balance even more than removing acquisition timers did. I cannot begin to guess how you arrived at that conclusion.

    VS Max Units arn´t OP. They are in a good way average.
    With both hands anti infantry weapon the TR MAX is the strongest. With both hands anti vehicle weapons the NC MAX is the strongest.
    With both hands AI or AV weapons the VC MAX is well-balanced. VS MAX AI is beating the NC, VS MAX AV is beating the TR.
    With both hands anti air all MAX units are equal.

    All faction are able to use their AV weapons against infantry in change for a damage malus but with a narrow marging for VS MAX as well-balanced unit. Don´t blame the Vanu faction, blame the not that well balanced MAX units from NC and TR - blame the devs :D

    And btw the VS MAX is the only door breaking ground unit for melee the VS have.

    Every faction is pulling maxes at a phenomenal rate. No doubt that was the reason behind the resource cost increase. But hey, lets pick specifically on the VS MAX because it hasn't been picked on recently. Oh wait - yes it has, ZOE was nerfed into oblivion. Meanwhile Ravens and Pounders dominate infantry zones; I don't see many VS pulling Comets or (LOL) Vortex.

    But sure, crack on with having a pop at VS.

    They aren't (that) OP. VS Connery (and the occasional TR/NC faction) happens to spam a lot of those the way how every HE tanker loves to feed their K/D ratio crap.

    All maxes have an OP weapon. For instance Ravens for the NC max aren't too bad, but if you have good aim double falcon can instakill any infantry. TR have the pounders that are OP against inf too but in all cases it's just a matter of thinking out of the box.

    Learn how to use your ES MAX.

    OK,
    so for the sake of argument, all MAXES are OP all the time. Tanks were adjusted to be solely anti-tank (AP) or anti-infantry (HE) with the vanilla HEAT round not being good at either.
    Do the same to a MAX and I'll be quiet, but the fact remains that VS Maxes are incredibly good CQC and still maintain high survivability against vehicles.
    Make it good against one thing at one time like my tank is, and I'll be happy.

    I assume that you're complaining about the Comets on the MAXes. The Pounders and Falcons are straight up better than coments at everything except long-range combat, where the Fractures and Ravens are better.
    The VS MAX is the weakest of the MAXes right now, because it lacks any OP/Ridiculous/frustrating weaponry, while the TR have pounders and NC have their Ravens/Scattercannons

    You'd pick a Comet MAX over a Pounder MAX or a Raven MAX? Are you serious?

    The only redeeming quality of the VS MAX is the long range AV capability. For everything else, it lags behind the other two.

    The only thing I have a problem with is the giant lasers from vortex and lancer spam. Its not that they're op, its I cant see craps when they are being used in great numbers.

    Being able to see them is not the problem, it's being not able to see hem because the game doesn't render projectiles from enemies you don't render, makes every TR and NC vehicles paranoid every time you can't see what's hitting you, at least for pheonix/raven/striker you get some kind of warning or noise from it but Lancer and vortex you just hear the plink plink plink of getting hit.
