I switch between 2x dot with circle (red) and 4x true shot depending on weapon and base/expected fighting range.
I don't use scopes for shotguns as I don't see the need to. For my assault rifles/ carbines I use nightvision and 2x dot reflex. I also use 4x triple chevrons for my BR, default and 12x scope for my default TR SR. I wouldn't recommend 12x to be equipped all the time as it is very situational.
Oh god I have done that so many times. Unload an entire mag and score no hits when I realize I was looking at the 'corner' dot. Center dot only with no box would be so much better.
