Favorite Outfits to Fight on Mattherson?

I was about to yell at you for necro'ing a thread when I realized it was only dead since Monday, of this week.

ANY OUTFIT NOT GHOST CAPPING WHEN I LOG ONTO THAT FACTION. FFS i love all the platoon chat when questioned about why they have 40 people staring at a capture bar. "this is about territory" "this isnt cod" "we're using tactics!" "We're flanking the lattice!", etc. Makes me log immediately back to my VS.

SG would save a lot of money if they just bought coloring books and blue crayons.

Teamwork is coloring outside the lines so your teammates don't feel bad when they mess up.

Not elitist, and always a healthy sense of humor always cracking the jokes never negative. I like that! Plus we share our love of vehicle whoring (especially those double basilisk sunderers). Oh and before it's said, TENC gets dumped on in /yell for using MAX's by DA exclusively, but I don't take it seriously nor do I care what people's opinion of our particular playstyles are. If you have it at your disposal, I say use it. I don't hold any stock in honor codes and fair play, especially when the ZOE Max is STILL grossly overpowered in comparison. Also, I've seen some DA members use MAX's (not all to be fair), and I feel sorry for them because I imagine the guilt trip or the lip they must get for pulling a MAX. And if they don't get lip, then I can only shake my head at the hypocrisy.

Having said that, I still enjoy going up against DA, and I hope the feeling is mutual (even if Vonic does his best to not make it seem that way).

You know we love DARK. I miss fighting you guys at Dagda in PS1. Miss OneBadDude, Mouse, Vinnie, and all the other PS1 vets that didn't make the transition to PS2. It's a totally different game tho so I understand.

I don't think there is much of an issue with pulling MAXes, the issue is with pulling them when you already having a crushing population advantage in the hex where the fight is. Within the last week I've been at fights where SG, TENC, BAX and more than a few other outfits have had 70 - 85% pop advantage in a HEX and still have to pull upwards of 4-6 MAXes(along with a flood of infantry) to take a building with 8 to 12 DA members in it.

When you have 3 to 4 guns/bodies for every one of theirs and still need to pull that many 16,000 EHP walking tanks I think a bit of trash talking is warranted. Its not that anyone did anything wrong, its just that its pretty cheesey.

God, I really need to make my outfit larger.

The only outfit I really NOTICE liking to fight is BWC. I don't really see a lot of heavy armor pulled by any other outfits, but when I want to fight a tank, BWC is generally able to supply one.

Look for several Indar Dry Brush Prowlers fighting together, and probably one that has Magburner like Lag abilities , and a good fight will always be found if you're a NC/VS Tanker.

Yea we don't go to fights where we have a "crushing population advantage". Those are boring. We like being outnumbered.It's odd you would bring us up in situations like that, and it makes me wonder what other things are being assumed that aren't true.

Still hold DA in high regard, even if they don't. I always take the moral high ground, and at the end of the day this is an online video game and we're here to shoot stuff and have fun. I don't make it a personal thing where I have to make someone feel bad for their choice of what they use ingame.

If there are any imbalances, I believe the devs have sufficiently addressed NC MAX's in particular with all the cumulative nerfs they have received, which I believe didn't balance things, but that is for another thread and another time.

Btw, back on point, on TR Mattherson I love fighting EXOC, 903rd, Liter of Cola (LOC), TO, TE (r.i.p), HNYB, Rival Gaming, and VG. ON VS Mattherson I love fighthing DA, TGWW, NNG, AT, GOTR, DARK, Hayabusa, AC, BRBU, The Vindicators, FOSL.

Off topic, I would love to see a server merge so we can have more rivalries, especially smaller outfit rivalries. I think it's inevitable we're all going to end up in the same server eventually. My experience with PS1 makes me think that even more, and the lack of fights on more than one cont. tell me that as well. We'll see.

TR: BWC (I like them, they're cute), AOD (They seem to be EVERYWHERE) BBat (Firelord knows why)

NC: Strong Independent Black Women (becuase...), NLR (An organized NC outfit on Mattherson... WHAT!)

Personally, I'm a newer player, so I'm getting some experience doing the dirty work for the VS in DaPP, I'm definitely a higer caliber than most of their newbs (I joined back when they had like 40 people) and they're fun to work with, a nice casual outfit where I can learn to be a good Platoon Lead/Squad Lead. If I decide to get more competitive, I'll try to join NNG or AT, maybe Vindicators.
