Favorite Outfits to Fight on Mattherson?

While I don't necessarily disagree with Gals being harder to be effective with, I think the skill ceiling itself is lower simply because the Gal has no real role in an air battle. Libs occupy the heavy hitting but slow aircraft that maintains A2G effectiveness regardless of its loadout. The ESF is the nimble strike craft that can take down anything if the pilot is good enough. What does the galaxy do? It isn't fast and maneuverable like the ESF, and it can't bring the sheer up front damage that the Lib can. While a good battle gal with good gunners can be formidable, an equal number of players in libs is far more dangerous.

Anyways,

NC:

QRY- Because I pilot a Mossy on a regular basis
CML- Good on the ground and can provide a challenge in the air at times with their lib crews..
SMG- Same as above, but there ESF pilots are a bit better.

VS:

DA- Because they are damn good at what they do. R3DO is also awesome, and every time I have talked to Ender he has been nothing but respectful.
NNG- Has both great players on the ground and in the air.
DARK- They don't seem to have too many players, or at least I don't see too many, but they have some good pilots in both ESFs and Liberators.

I feel like an idiot for forgetting this one, but TGWW. Awesome pilots and even more awesome people.

I would say DA. Because when they are not hacking they are definitely the strongest(skill wise) outfit on the server. Past 9pm or so they are all hacking though so I try to avoid them like the plague during that time. Before that time though they bring me some of the biggest challenge and every time I fight them I learn a little bit more about the game. Them crushing my bones into the ground is making me a better player!

Least favorite? Goku.. I HATE Goku! Its literally just a bunch of 9 year olds who zerg rush around using their pop advantage and the second things start to go sour they all pull ZOE maxes and rush onto the point. It is pretty pathetic actually. And really now that I think about it. I pity them more than I hate them.

NNG has a lot of cool guys, and quiet a few skilled players. Always fun to go against.

Goku has been throwing huge numbers (and smoke) our way recently, it's been a lot of fun trying to adapt and overcome such overwhelming odds.

DaPP are a lot of fun to fight when they're in their smaller groups. They're low BR for the most part but seem to have a good grasp of the game mechanics and utilize teamwork really well. (When they're not zerging with their new recruits)

DARK is a fun small outfit to run into at night, though I haven't seen them on much lately. A few of them kicked my *** more than a few times, but it's fun having the challenge.

DA is great IF I'm in a squad with my outfit. 80% of the time though, I just run into them in the middle of the night and have to fend for myself. It's fun to try and get the better of them alone though. (Which I only do if I get a lucky break)

BWC is a good armor column to go against, but I rarely get to go against them when they're organized (scheduling conflict? haha)

VG is good if talking trash to everyone not in your outfit is your thing.

903 seems to be showing up in force recently, we seem to run into each other on a nightly basis at Howling Pass. I don't think we've clashed with them when both outfits were doing ops, but it could be a fun fight.

AOD is always around but I can't remember the last time I saw them focused and organized while coming at me.

I'm pretty stoked because it looks like the TR are the new "flavor of the month" when it comes to new recruits, REALLY hoping they get some smaller organized outfits in soon.

The 903rd officers have been striving to get the members to all get on together at least once a week for a big op. It is fairly difficult because all the members seem to have completely different schedules, but our op last Sunday drew close to 70 of our 230ish members. We kicked so much *** and had so much fun doing so that we are trying to make it a regular thing. We are gonna try to have another one Sunday, as well as Tuesday because of the date.

its not flavor of the month. Its recommended server. Players who pick TR only see mattherson as an option for east coast until they press the "all servers" button.

If I may add commentary, DA successfully retook that Tech Plant and flipped the point with only a minute to spare. It was a do or die moment. Most of the effort was focused on getting the generators back up. The pops were most likely 3:1 in the NC's favor. We sometimes die; it happens. We don't have any crazy hacks, we just PTFO. What you don't see are our solid medics keeping everyone up most of the time.

Just taking the top 20 Most Killed / Most Killed By on your stats, you've died to DA 268 times and killed DA 108 times. You might want to actually close that gap before you start down this path.

Actually it was late at nigth and as usual the VS are grocely overpops , this figth i dont know how you could know when it was but they retook the objective with ease and not much resistance i was with a squad of total randoms players with no mic lol

We end up this figth in 85 % vs and 15 % NC lol

YEp ... thats what happen a lots ... but it seams since ive taunt my little friend ender a little Some DA not all seams to switch to the NC lately more often in their SBW clan ... wich is kinda ok but still the NC at nigth is a pain to play ...

I like fighting Torokokill and xGuru of GOTR, IIXianderII of AT. Very talented VS Infiltrators who are difficult to root out.

The NC lack truly dedicated infiltrators on Mattherson and the best one I've actually come across was Boursk of all people.

I have respect for DA on the field, they bring a good fight and if I snipe one of them I know I will have to immediately relocate. Amazingly these guys are more annoying on Forumside than they are on the live server, they just can't help being smug and trollfaced when their actions alone bring more than enough complements and recognition.

Other favorite outfits to fight:
NC - SG, CML when they footzerg (it's pretty cool and makes for great open field combat). I never seem to find BAX.
VS - GOTR, DA, NNG, GOKU. Yes, I've seen some impressive things from GOKU lately. TGWW would be on the list except you can't snipe liberators. I usually just make sure I know where the nearest tree is.

From the TR side, 903, HYNB and AOD have all worked with BWC to bring good fights to the enemy and win alerts. I wish I knew my allies better but I don't spend any time in command. 903 has stepped up their game considerably lately imo, and have the capability of displacing the well known enemy outfits from an objective.

Here, I thought the comment about civility on the "Favorite Outfits to Fight on Connery" thread was tongue-in-cheek. Apparently, sh*t gets real on threads about Mattherson pretty quick.

Only outfit i specifically look to fight is TENC other then that i like to fight outfits i recognize from PS1.
