Farewell Double XP

    In 15mins all servers are being restarted. Double XP is over.

    Now we go back to the boring grind. Prepare for server populations to decrease massively.

    Now i can actually do something useful instead of spawn camping sunderers and sneaking into the crown as LA with my trusty nova.

    I gained two Battleranks this weekend and have 1400 certs in the bank.

    When the patch comes I will have enough to unlock an SMG to try out.

    I feel like the double XP cert rate is roughly what the base rate should be.

    Well issue with double xp being all the time would be most people would be BR 60+ by now.

    And well... everyone would unlock everything in 4 months.

    I only got about 3 hours total during this double XP. Had to work most of the weekend or be at other events. Finally got home tonight thinking I'd be able to play a bit and I logged on to see the 10 minute warning to shut down.

    If cert gain rate was increased, I'd expect the majority of people who subscribe and buy boosts will still do so and the people who don't stil wouldn't. Would the game retain more players that are frustrated by the 'low' cert gain than it loses due to people being bored by having nothing else to unlock or not needing a subscription or boosts? Besides, with extra content being added there will be new toys to buy with certs for a while yet.

    I work doubles on the weekends so I get an hour or two to play. Makes me sad there are only double exp weekends.
