Faction Balance On Waterson

Hello all, and happy New Year!! I haven't been on PS2 in a while because of BF4 which was a big mistake. Although it's a good game, the issues just overshadow what could have been something great. Anyway, I stopped playing PS2 for a bit because as a NC player, i felt that we were always the underdog on Waterson. But I wanted to know how it's been for NC there because i just can't take the stress of BF4 anymore. Thanks

The VS were traditionally the underdog on Waterson. Not sure if that's true anymore.

I took 1-2 months off and just came back about 2 weeks ago. NC has been winning a lot more primetime alerts than I remember now.

Nc numbers have been surpassing TR over the last month or so and the VS are averaging pretty close to TR give or take a few points. There has been a definite change in pop for many servers since the war thing.

waterson is pretty balanced; NC have been on the upswing the last couple months but usually aren't up by more than a handful of percentage points over the #2 faction

I like Waterson balance wise, though NC more often have more numbers overall, it's not a huge difference, from what I've seen (most of the time), the TR, VS and NC are all within spitting difference of one another for server pop., and usually at least one of the of the continents (usually Indar) are completely even pop. wise.

All this changes on time of day of course, but that's typically my observation.

We had a war event that tallied points for each faction to see who the best was. TR won each week and then VS won overall by ghost capping dead maps and data tweaking. Seemed like right after that people starting transferring more to NC. There had to have been a change in the updates that made them want to do so but I've witnessed the NC pop go up on waterson and Connery (not that numbers will help connery because the collective IQ is pretty low). VS got a pretty good boost as well and like Assault says, waterson is pretty even for the most part. Usually I see NC have maybe around 4-5% above the others.

Well, this is all good news then. I just want balance because for a while there, NC just couldn't do anything. It was very frustrating everyday behind the "8-ball" I don't mind being the underdog from time to time, but everyday was just not fun.

How has the game been in general?

I have not had much time to play myself over the holiday season. busy with work/life/etc. but, each time I have logged on recently, the pops have been almost dead even between factions. NC have also been winning a lot of alerts. I have noticed A LOT of low BR VS lately though.

Currently the NC holds the northern Indar warpgate, couple that with the nerfs to the ZOE MAX, Vulcan Harasser, as well as a number of TR and VS small arms, and you get the Fourth Faction migration to the NC, and thus the NC is the new overpop faction.

Oops you're right the TR has the northern warpgate atm.

I've noticed it as well. But across all three factions. Not sure if it's a temp thing, like other people rolling alts. Or truly noobs to the game.

We have the SE warpgate on Indar. Which is a welcome change after being on the west so long that the scenery is fried into my brain.
The day and time make a difference, but the fights have been good with several ending in draws.

I play VS I'm used to being the underpop faction, although it does seem that the VS pop swells after the primetime ends.

I think it's a combination of people rolling alts, and new people playing over the holidays. You can tell the difference between a vets on a low BR alts and newbie to the game, as the vets tend not to get set up in bad positions, but the newbies will.
