Hey great people, SO.. I got me a 6 month membership & a 50% boost item. (Which should give a 100% boost in total). The thing is, when I mouse over the XP bonuses, it only shows the membership bonus - 50%, whilst the boost is equipped on the character but it does not show (Nor does the double XP at this moment). I get about 300XP for 1 kill, so I suppose it's all working though? Thanks in advance, Mike
Assuming double exp is still ongoing atm, then no. 100 exp per kill, 50% exp bonus from membership is 150exp, double exp should make it 300, no? Double check to see if your booster is equipped.
You sure the boost is equiped? is it a ressource boost? you can also press tab to check your active bonusses on the right.
You bumped your thread because you didn't get a reply in 21 minutes, despite it still being on the front page? AFAIK, the bonuses are additive rather than multiplicative (if that's a real word) so a 100 xp kill will be raised to 200xp which is +100% (+50 for membership and +50 for the boost). I wouldn't worry as long as you get ~200xp or thereabouts per kill no matter what it says on the character sheet. Double xp gives you the extra xp per kill but doesn't show anywhere as a modifier, so will probably be better to check once this is switched off (at midnight US time?). Also don't forget continent/world population imbalanace can skew your percentage gain too.
I had the wrong booster pack... Made 8xx certs over 2 days.. if only I had the right booster pack it would have been more
if you made nearly a thousand certs in 2 days you are at the point where a ressource booster allows you to use your stuff alot more
Never thought about that.. But I reckon I will first play as my TR infiltrator & SMG - and use the certs to put into the requisition timers so I can get access to it quicker, and THEN buy the resource booster pack. Seems best IMO. Thanks for reply, again!
