EU Player Studio

Is it ever coming? Dare we ProSebien people ever dare to dream of gaudy golden camo's?

Considering any EU player going through Steam can use Player Studio I'm really baffled as to why it's taken so long for ProSebien accounts to get it. It can't be a legal issue or all those Steam players wouldn't be allowed to use it so why exactly has it taken so long?

Steam use's the US client not the EU client

I know that, but the players are still in the EU and subject to EU law so it can't be a legal issue stopping Player Studio coming to the EU client or they'd already have a ton of problems with Steam Users.

It's weird because I don't get why SOE would want to deny EU Client people access to Player Studio. I am keen to spend money on it and SOE isn't usually so reluctant to take my money.

legal issues and tax's prevent player studio in the EU

No it doesn't. You can use player studio in the EU just fine, you just need to use the SOE client.

If legal issues were a real problem you wouldn't be able to do this. It may prevent submission to the Player Studio, but most of us just want to buy things not submit.

Perhaps the real problem is that no one notices the problem exists. When you buy from the store with SC, it doesn't matter wherther it came from dollars or euros; an SC is an SC. The client just gives you access because it isn't paying attention to where you actually live and you aren't going through the dedicated EU ProSeiben.

The main hold-up is definitely EU financial paperwork.
