Error: Unable to write to Exception: Cannot open file -PlanetSide 2/Resources/Assets/Assets_001.pack (13) - Okay so this is the 3rd day I have been unable to get the launcher to work. It hangs at 0% for the patch and gives this error. I have done everything I can think of from resetting my router, checking admin, uninstalling and reinstalling which got it to 1%. I also did compatibility mode which got it up to 78% however it still says it is stuck on the same asset pack with the exact same error message. I really need some help here.
Try to open the PlanetSide 2/Resources/Assets/ and check did Assets_001.pack is damaged or not, you can just move it or delete it. It can be a hard disk damage that causing file corrupt, which also means that you need to change your hard disk.
As I stated earlier I did run as admin. I already cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled. But I can check the files when I am off work. I doubt it is the HDD but that is an option I can consider. I am not having trouble with any of the other 30+ games I have so if anyone else has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.
