Hi, I've been trying to uninstall the PS2 beta for the past couple of days and keep getting this error in Windows 7. I assumed it was b/c the server was disconnected, but it still pops the error now. Given how we've been strongly advised to have the beta off our computers before getting the launch version, would love assistance. Thanks.
I had the same problem as well. All you need to do is to delete the entire Planetside 2 beta folder. Last but not least, delete any shortcut icons that could be located on your desktop and/or start menu that launched the game. (Note: This is only for users who participated in the beta and are having an error uninstalling the game, more specifically error 1001)
