[Suggestion] EndGame Suggestion

    Continent locking is repetitive, and somewhat pointless. :eek:

    Here is what I propose: a faction elimination match every 4 months. Each server is separate.

    When it begins, all three factions fight each other. Kills and base takeovers gets counted as points (TKs get negative points).

    At the end of the first round one faction gets eliminated- the ones with the lowest points. All they can do is log into Koltyr. They can of course, use characters to join in the remaining two factions

    The remaining two factions fight it out, and one faction prevails at the end of the season- winning faction gets 1000 certs each (determined by total log in time as a character in that winning faction) or some special prize like in a directive or something.

    Then the season starts again in 4 month's time. :)

    Completely preventing the worst-performing faction from logging into continents and being stuck into Koltyr for the rest of the event so it becomes completely unplayable? How about no. Might as well make NC temporarily unplayable :p

    Getting points by getting kills would also be bad, encouraging farming and lots of vehicle use unless you also somehow count in vehicle kills. The system would be hard to implement properly and balance.

    If you want a pretty interesting big event, Planetside 2 used to have the World Domination Series, it was pretty cool but due to balancing issues it encouraged team-swapping for certs. Asking for it to be brought back with some improvements would be more than possible and do most things you asked for. It was yearly and felt very special if nothing else.
