Have you ever finished a long battle and then hit tab to look at the final scores? Today, I did that after a very long battle on indar at one base/outpost. I got 37 kills defending as an infiltrator, scored almost 9800xp/points?? and I was 7th on the list... that's good I thought, who scored higher and what were their stats...? TOP GUY, 237 kills, 77000 xp!!! how!!! What are these people doing to earn that many kills/points/xp. As far as I can tell he was using gauss saw and jackhammer as an HA. Also, looking at the tab page again at different bases/outposts later that night, I noticed again other players scoring 30000-50000-90000 points/xp!!! I want to be able to do that, how are they?? I scored today... 99168 and the guy with 237 kills at one base today... scored 360000 today!!! HOW!
so am I, but I have not had a day like that...I'm BR91 now, put in a lot of time with membership and boosts... I play hard for 100000 points/xp a day... what are they doing? Clearly, something I'm not doing and I would like to get better by at least attempting to do what they do... Gal pilots/ lib pilots/ esf lolpods/ HE TURRETS ON TANKS??? how do you get 240ish kills defending one base, how do you get almost 77000 points/xp defending one base, how do you get 360000ish xp/points in one day?
It's a bug. I've gone back into one base that me and friends were capping earlier, hit tab to check my K/D or something and noticed I had apparently gotten like 200+ kills and 60k+ points in the last battle, when really we just stood around and waited for the place to cap as there were no enemies there. Same thing has happened to one of my friends a few times. We would show up into a battle that we were no part of for the first half or so, and suddenly hes #1 on the battle stats with tens of thousands of points and hundreds of kills that he never got.
yeah, i guess we all would appreciate a video showing an uncut 1 hour game session of a guy earning that many points. instead of multiple YT video clips showing only the most lucky/best moments
This, they never record anything even close to right. I've gotten 20 kills in a battle and only 1 was recorded.
And ive walked into a base at the end of a cap, looked at the leaderboard and gone, "damn, i need to turn my hax down" 60+ kills, top of leaderboard The leaderboards are very bugged atm
I think part of the problem is when a base is redefended i.e the cap points finishes counting down and flips to the defending team it resets the score board. Also it seems if fighting on the edge of a territory out of range of any cap points from showing on your hud ut seems to not include you in the fights score. I was top of the leaderboard the other day with 67 kills which qas correct in terms of kills because it was the first fihht sinve logging on but the second highest was 20 something. I find it hard to believe no one had a higher kill count than that.
The scoreboard is entirely useless. It adds up weird stats when you haven't even killed a single guy at the facility. Not to mention that it favors payers.
