I would love to be there, but will be out of town that weekend. Since I'll be in the sticks up in remote Michigan I doubt I'll have a decent enough connection for this.

They really really really really really need to tone down the brightness of that yellow.

I'm no high ping fps twitch shooter but I know this game. Got plenty of experience. No longer the top NC score on the server - though I still have most time played. Ran with DVS in the early days (our mate won SOE challenge). So, I'm sure I can bring something of benefit to someone.

I'm strongly in favor of teams that set simple objectives - and then collectively focus on accomplishing them. Nothing complicated.

One of the best pug teams I've rolled with was a TR air zerge on Connery. They had everyone airborne and making flash raids via the wg. If someone didnt have a plane, they gave them a seat or drew them a mossie. Great way for more people to learn the air game. We were a dominate fighting force too.

There's plenty to discuss. We just need to keep it simple and smart. NC has lots of room to improve. So doable, though.

I'd like to see more harasser savvy. Too many people are in the dark about wtf to do when they gun. This desperately needs to change. Again, doable.

You need to invest and share your knowledge somewhere and commit to an outfit. It all starts by grouping good players together and then having those good players work with new players to help progress them and cut their time to learn in half or quicker. Lots of complaints when VCO first started about zerging and sucking etc, but I did it bc the NC on Mattherson needed help and a place to go. IT sucked, lots of long hours and frustration, but if I had wanted to join a top tier outfit I could have but that would not have solved the issue.

We need more dedication and people that care. It wont be easy it never is, but it's worth it. Look for someone to help or to share your knowledge with. The game is too big for any one person to know everything, plenty of learning to go around.

I'll try to make it. But, in the days to come, I'll also offer my input where possible.

Post meetup, we'd be wise to establish a standard practice for

- bio lab assaults (max crash via teleport)
- defending a sunderer (enginners on the ready, HA's/veh warding off enemy veh, infiltrators spamming darts etc)
- maintaining and coordinating a dedicated air team
- applying light ground vehicles (Flashes and Harassers)
- being a support class/veh (CM, engi, supply/repair sunderer)

I've maxed everything. So if I'm with a practice team, I can supply any vehs we may need to set up demos.

Here is what you need to do, Attack the VS non stop. The TR too.

The VS are going to be the easy mode team as the players drift to that side for easy wins. We need to bash them all day long to get it under control.

I'm a Connery NC (when I do play PS2), but still I can give some of my own input. Hopefully you can increase the competency of our faction to help deal with the rampant incompetency that has been plaguing the NC since 2003 and stick with that improved competency for a while. We'll never be on the level of TR/VS players, but maybe we can be a bit better.

Always Chafing will not attend unless there is punch and pie.
