[Emerald] I tried TR, I tried...

I'm really considering finally taking up the squad leader mantle. I'm usually lone wolfing because I get tired of joining squads that want to hey-diddle-diddle, straight up the middle all the time. It's a waste. I'm constantly finding myself inside a base with no backup. Give me a few guys and we'll be coming around the flanks and over the walls, even though it may take longer to get back into the action that way. Patience.

We were actually at Mani for like 1/2 the night. We also tried to push Rime but no TR came to help (which was mostly due to command chat not working all night) we helped Jaegers Fist, re-secured Traverse twice, and were a part of the first two failed attempts on Triumph.

Like I said, the VS basically won the alert before it started and were helped by TR command being stubborn with Triumph and NC being useless.

TR is just demoralized, NC is a literal dumpster fire.

That sounds about right. My platoon was cleaning up all the damn VS sundys at Pale while Watersons was being capped. Once Pale was secure we moved on to watersons and there were about ten mags roaming the outskirts and killed our push. It was at this time we joined the TR at Mattersons and got the cap down to five minutes before all sunders were destroyed due to the 20 magriders...

Wouldn't be the last battle we've lost against VS where all we needed was one point to drive them out. It's rarely a curbstomp. We just can't seem to push VS completely out of a base. It's really just not enough pushing on TR's part. Too many people are sitting on ridgelines sniping with carbines and LMGs while two or three people actually rush in. Our rushers get in, but it's just never enough manpower to keep a foothold.

I wouldn't mind seeing the MAXes that actually get on the flanks do a little more than just sit back behind cover and snipe at the enemy, too. Freggen' bullet sponges could force their way in on their own; bring a few friends with him; be a thorn in the enemy's side long enough to do some damage, destroy a vehicle terminal and sit on it to reduce the Magrider population a little.

TR take note from tonight's Bio Lab: When running around the clusterf*ck and taking the far control point and destabilizing the generator, you draw the enemy off their camp and soften them up for a breakout. You guys just ramming your heads into the enemy wall over and over are just spinning your wheels. A few runs at the generator, and that SCU was ready to blow. 'Twas fun.

Holy sh*t, TR won a primetime alert on Esamir against the VS, and handily. Malorn be praised!

I've played all 3 empires moderately on Matherson/Emerald over the years, I have to admit that after the merger there seems to be an imbalance issue concerning VS. I'm not entirely sure if it's because VS have superior numbers, but I think its more because VS leadership likes to constantly stack there platoons together.

One thing I've witnessed on Emerald which I think is pretty lame, is VS players constantly reporting players within other empires leadership for absolutely stupid things like swearing etc. They would even make characters on the other empires to try to instigate the situation. Honestly if your trying that hard to win at a video game, then your probably losing irl.
