Honestly? 10 SC per might work. They have no long term impact on the game. You don't get a "You won!" screen with stats. You don't get anything at all except a pointless bonus that provides little to no real impact and a paltry amount of exp.

How can we use 'redeployside' and outpop someone by 70/30? the entire point of redeploying is finding fights more reliably and faster then any other way. Now take a look at this http://stats.dasanfall.com/ps2/player/ArghyVS and all i have is membership. We pull in more certs and combat then literally every outfit our size.

You think we are doing something wrong and not getting fights but if you opened your eyes you'd realize we get more fights then anyone. Those 'good fights' you talk about are literally every fight for us. If we out pop the enemy we redeploy to another fight that needs us otherwise we attack.

First TE was horrible at troop movement and redeployment as evidence by them constantly dropping 3-6x the number of troops on an base. If that strength came back it would be utterly hilarious as TR's entire population on a cont would zerg a single base while NC/VS ghost capped multiple bases at the cost of losing 1.

Alerts are literally the best form of certs/fights because now people have to attack, they have to defend. On the defensive its just non stop fights crushing attack after attack with no down time. On the attack its an insane fight where platoons bodily rush a point through a choke point trying to save the base. Alerts raised my SPM to what it is, when theres no alert my kdr rises and my SPM drops.

Does that mean that I'm a tryhard?
Does that mean I have a condemned attitude?
Does that mean that I HAVE to win to enjoy the game?
Does that mean that I do not enjoy the game for what it is?
Does that mean you have to stop fighting me, because I ENJOY the epic battles?
If you answered yes to any of those questions, I won't become a selfish madman, I'll get pretty depressed. If that's what you think the VS is, a faction of tryhards and farmers, then you're wrong.

Just my personal advice - you might find yourself enjoying the game more if you started over on Connery. I hated Mattherson with a passion in the past - only got there cause poor SolTech was thrown into the dog house. Starting over the game, my main is now a TR on Connery, and I have NC/VS alts on Connery too. I like this new playground I found a lot more.

Still ended up on Emerald since I had recreated some east coast alts - I've always been fond of Waterson VS and played VS on that server for a long time. Its not too bad in the Emerald merge from a VS POV, but playing my baby TR alt (Waterson) on Emerald is not really much fun at all regardless if I'm fighting VS or NC.

The only issue I have with Connery is that a lot of times we're stuck on just 2 continents because of the stupid continent locking mechanic and not enough pop to go around to force at least 3 to stay up most times.

Emerald is literally the best server in the game. Best fights, best players, best outfits, best farms.

Emerald is cannon, it is said. Higby plays on connery because a god cannot die, if he were to join his faithful on emerald we would throw down our gods and become them ourselves.

Why don't you try playing VS a little bit instead of condemning a whole faction just because you got dunked on a couple of times.

About 50% of the people posting in this thread that are poking and taunting the OP are perfect representations of the personalities which are attributed to VS and part of the reason for the VS avoidance. Sure, there's the gameplay factors and other such things, but the general attitude is abrasive and annoying -- further magnified by (perceived) population and skill "advantages" -- and is arguably one of the more evidential.

If you guys "don't care," then keep being trolly ********* and keep the hate wheel a rollin'. Otherwise, maybe you should realize that of all the things you can do to help fix the situation, that one is likely the easiest. Plus, you don't have to stop all the other things people whine about and you get to keep winning.

But, what do I know? I just play games to have fun; and I find having fun with others to be more enjoyable than having fun at the expense of others.

I found a solution. I switched to VS.

Ive never played with a more annoying and infuriating group of paint chip eating potatoes as the matterson nc. I curse every day this god forsaken merger. They are the number one enemy of the nc, and if I didnt love this game so much, I would just quit then deal with them

Just add them to your ignore list. Go fight somewhere else and ignore the try hards, You will have much more FUN, alerts don't mean jack squat..

Some of the players in the VS guilds make League of legends look like a good community. If it brings your pleasure to try and make someone else's gaming experiences worse there is something wrong with you.

You seriously don't get it.It's not going to cause your outfit to start winning. It will cause YOU to start winning with your outfit. Seriously. Personally I was surprised what 3 people can do when they cooperate. A full cooperating squad can do wonders.And a full platoon...

For example you are in a biolab and you pull a MAX. You kill some Vanu but eventually you got killed because nobody wanted to repair you. This happens very often. Now, if you had a single buddy who could repair you... you could last much much longer. And this is just one person.

Further examples:
- 3 HAs can instagib an ESF if they cooperate. 7 can instagib a tank or a lib.Add one engineer for endless ammo and one medic for revives and you get an ultimate anti-vehicle squad.Use a galaxy/valk to place them on a high ground and you can repel an entire tank/air zerg. That's just 9 people. Without using force multipliers. MAXes are much more powerful than HAs you know...
- 2 people in a harrasser can be a real pain in the *** for both infantry and vehicles.
- 3 engineers with AV manas can easily snipe enemy tanks from 500m before they can reach cover

and much, much more.
Now, how much of those you can do alone? For maximum efficiency you need to cooperate with others.

I find it funny, during the last server smash, a small TR outfit was considered MVPs of the event. Maybe some need to step up their game, not their mouths.

I wouldn't let the rants about VS get to you or the old Waterson VS. Granted there were a few bad apples. The ire is more directed towards the Mattherson wing of the Emerald VS.

I've definitely noticed that VS is loaded with tons of tryhards, and fights against TR tend to be much funner. I do fight VS more though, since I desire to see their cyan warpgate turned into a spandex prison.
