Elite ESF flyers that use mouse/keyboard?

Could not get used to mouse at all, so I ended up using keyboard exclusively which allowed me to at least get to where I want to go...well most the time. Then I got my logi x-box type joy pad and that works much better. Now if only I could figure out how to adjust the sensitivity on the dang thing....so far I can't find option anywhere for this. Ah well, can't dog fight but I can rocket spam like a pro which really is not that hard now that I am learning. Infact a totally inept pilot like me with minimal flight experience can kill tanks which bespeaks how easy flying really is in PS2.

Joystick support only technically exists. It's not a real option because of the weird, unnatural way the input is handled and because the flight model is way more arcade than sim.

I spent a bazillion hours in Falcon 3 and 4, HOTAS all the way, but I use mouse & keyboard in this game. Once you get used to it you'll find that it makes more sense in this game. You won't feel like you're fighting the controls.

PROTIP: Rebind the vehicle exit key (under aircraft controls) to something other than E. No more embarrassing mid-dogfight suicides!

As well as the previously mentioned putch up/down binds, I also put third person and reload on my mouse buttons, so the only keys I have to press are the momvement keys. Less chance of hitting some other key by mistake and ditching your aircraft.
