Funny story. For one of those fights where I died quickly, I equipped smoke instead of fire suppression out of habit. Totally useless. And stealth too. WTF! Note to self: You don't need stealth and smoke when dueling harassers in CQC!

I was in charge of the large VS harasser force fighting you guys late tonight. Must say, you kicked our ***, but it was a fun time fighting you guys with the new way resources work

Awesome! I noticed some RCN6 guys in the mix too, so I figured you guys were on alts in a TR bash. We had a lot of people on last night, larger than it's ever been. Last night's Harasser TDM was some of the most fun we've ever had.

I figured the Last Steel Legion could use a bump. I'm sure most of them are great guys but one of their members ClapTrapV5 was recently shooting friendly vehicles in the warpgate and also sitting in the AA turrets at the warpgate shooting friendly air flying in and out.

I figured one of their outfit officers would square him away and that would be the end of that so I contacted Raffika who was online and he said he didn't care if LSL members were intentionally shooting at and destroying friendly vehicles and that I could quote him on that. So...I'm quoting him on that.

I would sincerely hope that Fodollah and the other actual LSL leaders don't tolerate this kind of behavior from LSL members and officers. Since SOE decided it would be a good idea to enable teamkilling in the warpgate we already deal with enough idiots who alt from other accounts just to intentionally teamkill. We don't need anymore dumb-***-ery than we already have...which is plenty.



I know this isn't exactly a stellar bump for LSL's recruitment thread but since an officer couldn't handle such a simple thing, I assume the actual leaders can. I'm also assuming that the majority of LSL are decent players. I know it's just an online game. I'm not going to write my congressman about it and I'm not waiting for a written apology. All I was expecting was a response like, "I'll take care of it." which would have been perfect.

Well.....speaking for myself. It seems WAY out of character for him. He TKs when warranted or a outfit member, like me.

Also, in the entire time I've known clap, I've never known him to get in AA turrets especially at a warpgate.

Sounds like there's a lot more to the story, or you've got the wrong guy. Or Clap pissed you off and you came here expecting something to come of it. Either way, I see no issue here with my outfit members.

Definitely the right name. Among other players' vehicles he was shooting at, I watched him blow up my own ESF as I was changing my loadout at a class terminal as well and I literally just started playing on Emerald. Don't know anyone. Don't know this guy, never even heard of your outfit. Random douchery happens. Whatever. I'm over it already. It was the response to the random douchery that elevated it.

I didn't see him kill anyone but he was blowing up and shooting at friendly vehicles in the warpgate, so..."team-blowing-upping" would be more accurate perhaps.

Not really a "lot more" to the story. It's pretty cut and dry. This guy was shooting at friendly vehicles in the warpgate for some reason and an outfit officer said he didn't give a **** if he was.

Well, sorry for your experience. My suggestion is to video tape. That way there is no he said she said.

I am an officer in the outfit, I was on Teamspeak while all this was going on. I know that he wasnt shooting anything because he was talking to me about how he was tired of waiting for me to get into his tank (i was logging in). The only thing he said was that some guy was trying to get into his top gun that wasnt me. If said guy shot at anything thats on the random pubby but not Clap. Neither Clap nor I shoot **** in the warpgate, and in fact I was like lets get out of here before WE get c-4'd because people were being stupid today since two continents were locked....

You start harassing Clap and Im listening to him tell me about your convo and Im sitting here thinking youre wrong the whole time. So I said what I said. I'm glad you quoted on me on it, but guess what, I still dont care if claptrap teamkills ANYTIME ANYWHERE because i know he doesnt do it without a REASON.... Anyways, the proof is in the character of the player that everyone in the outfit knows from being on with him every day in teamspeak. Since I dont know Clap as a guy who just runs around teamkilling people/their vehicles, I decided to dig a little bit.
Using a website that even shows empty vehiclekills with the name of their driver I am quite confident you got the wrong guy, since he hasnt killed any friendlies vehicles today.



As you can see the only teamkill today was a guy who shot him first. Anyway hope the conflict is resolved.

I'm not seeing where empty vehicle kills are annotated anywhere on that list. All I see are actual kills. It looks like it just mirrors his killboard. But random douchenozzle Olagarr is not ClapTrapv5's only teamkill. Not counting Olagarr, ClapTrapV5 has 8 other recent teamkills against players who had not killed him like Olagarr. But again, I'm not talking about teamkills. Of course, that happens from time to time. Sometimes because of a bad shot, bad driving or people just running in front of your bullets.

I'm talking about team-blowing-upping. Now unless there was some miraculous bug that caused ClapTrapV5's name to be displayed above the Prowler that I was looking directly at which I also saw shooting at other vehicles in the warpgate after blowing up my ESF, then it was him. I'm not saying it's entirely impossible but that would be the very first time since Closed Beta I've seen a bug like that.

I see because you spoke to him on Teamspeak that proves he would never do something like that. So assuming you're right, then I just started playing on Emerald literally yesterday and for some strange reason I just randomly picked this guy's name out of the tens of thousands of PS2 players for some unknown vendetta with the sinister goal of eliciting a random apology from someone. Either that or perhaps he just had a random moment of douchenozzlery. Heck, I'm not even mad at ClapTrapV5 anymore but it was the response from you that made me sense there might be a pattern. You already said you weren't there otherwise you would have heard me publicy deriding his douchenozzlery at the warpgate so we can play he said, she said all day and it won't get anyone anywhere because I'll say I watched him with the eyeballs in my face and you'll say well, we're BFFs and he would never do that.

I have nothing against your outfit. I'm sure you guys do good things for the TR and kill lots of smurfs and sexy purple people. At any rate, let's just leave it at that. I think enough has been said already and I'm sure you're tired of reading my posts.

You might observe that whenever claptrap died in his tank, there are two indicators on the list, one with a prowlersymbol, one without. The symbol indicates that just the vehicle owned by the player written there got killed, you will notice that there are sometimes kills where the vehicle and the owner die in rapid succession with a 0 sec delay (second column), this is the case when you kill the vehicle with the driver in it. You will also see that sometimes there is a longer delay between killing of the vehicle and the owner, indicating that the owner wasnt in the vehicle when it got killed. This is the last post i'm gonna make on the subject. First, if you look at that post by Tempname, it has a vehicle icon displayed if the vehicle blew up and a name of a person underneath it if the person stayed in it. For instance, clap blew up only a mana turret at 19:45:22, but then blew up Dimasha's tank and Dimasha inside it right after that with the exact same timestamp. Nowhere in there does it show a TR Vehicle blowing up... So again, Im now 99.9999% sure he didnt blow up crap in the warpgate. What I can be 100% sure of is that you were going on /yell chat telling everyone to report him for doing so and then you come whining to me while Im in his tank telling me he's been TKing when I know better, especially when I can see what you're saying in yell and he's relaying what you're whispering to him....So let me get this straight, you want people (not only myself but also everyone in the Warpgate) who werent involved to report someone for something they didnt see and take you on your word? especially since I have at least some sort of proof that he didnt do what you claim he did right in front of me. He told me he didnt do it, I believed him, I may have replied to you in a hostile tone, but as far as I can tell, your a batsh*t crazy troll who's only agenda is to try and get my friend banned in some way for something he didnt do, I will tell you to f*ck off everytime at that point. So here's my apology, when I first replied all I should have said was "So? if you think he did than report him, otherwise f*ck off." Well, mystery solved. It was some idiot named Grimdo, a brand new player which it appears was created simply to teamkill TR.

So ClapTrapV5 says some guy was trying to jump into his Prowler. This obviously happened before ClapTrap locked his vehicle. Grimdo used the Halberd on ClapTrap's Prowler to blow up my ESF and was also the person harassing friendly air coming out of the warpgate. However, ClapTrap was driving the Prowler before he booted Grimdo out of it, hence when I looked at the Prowler, whose name did I see? ClapTrapV5. Who did I assume was being a complete jack-***? ClapTrapV5. Who was? Grimdo...and me.

But if both ClapTrapV5 and Raffika knew this already, they could have simply explained it from the start. Instead I was told by Raffika that he didn't give a ****. I'm willing to admit when I'm wrong but if Raff had used a little more tact and if Clap had explained that some random ******* jumped in his tank and started shooting people then there wouldn't have been all this confusion. Also, if SOE provided these extended stats on the Player's Site there wouldn't have been this confusion either, despite the fact that they provide all this information in the API. Go figure.

Regardless, mah bad.
