Hi. I'm a BR27 TR and I'm interested in Harassers and would like to join this outfit. There's one problem when trying to register, though. And that is that I don't know the right answer to the question of 'What vehicle does ECUS operate?'. If somebody who knew was to reply, that'd be helpful.

The reason why I ask is because when I tried saying 'Harassers' 'Penetrators' 'Harasser' Penetrator' and 'Harrassers and Liberators', it said I was wrong for all of them.

Ah. It should be Harasser and Liberator that get you in, as vehicle is singular. I should add the above options also. When I put that in place, I wasn't yet calling them penetrators and lubricators. heh! Thank you for this process improvement opportunity!

Alright, I'm considering coming back and trying again, though I have absolutely 0 certs on the Harasser as when I've been thinking about spending on vehicles, I've always done tanks/Sunderers/ESFs. Can I still join this outfit if our styles align?

Spend a few thousand certs into your harasser and see if you like it. If it's something you want to dedicate your existence to, than we'll talk. If it's something you want to spend 20% of your time with, than you can ride along with us as many folks from many outfits do. You don't need ecus tags to run a harasser with the group. There are always people in need of gunners and drivers.

Sorry about last night: We had a high octane fight in the fun Triangle and I couldn't chat.

Ok. I sent the application earlier though. And about last night, it's fine. I just logged on to add the four of you and see if I could spend some certs on anything I wanted and get some more. I had to turn in for the night a bit after coming on anyway. Also, it's going to take me quite a while to get lots of certs as I'm not very good when it comes to combat and I'm wanting to spend some certs on infantry farming loadouts for my ESF/ Lightning.

Cool man, whatever you gotta do. I'm a little confused though - how do you know you'd like the harasser if you have no certs in it?

I've seen videos of both destroying enemies with the weapons and Harasser racing, and I have a small bit of experience with gunning other people's harassers.

Interesting. Let me caution you: For the videos we make it look easy. It's actually quite the challenge to get to the level where we're at and you really have to commit yourself to the program, Jason Bourne style. We're all a bunch of Black Ops agents in our harasser. Unlike the Lancer, you can't just hold a button down and rain death from out of render, the second you get in the game.

Don't let me scare you away either.

That made me a bit skeptical, but I like the occasional challenge that PS2 can offer.

No better harasser teachers than these. They've put my ESF into the red so many times....

These are absolutely my favorite people to fight in Planetside. I got to participate in that RCN6 (and friends) vs. ECUS fight posted above (I'm featured in minute 2:33 with the assist on fodollah -_-) and I haven't had that much fun in the game in months.
