I know this is only a small thing but the Drakon Armour has some problems with camo, at least for certain classes. As you can see here, the Drakon armour for the engineer has leg-guards, with red bits to help distinguish them as armour However, when a camo is applied these red parts dissappear, making the leg armour look like the fabric underneath, as if there was no armour there at all I know this is only a small issue but its just bugging me a bit, after spending station cash on these, just bringing awareness of the issue, I haven't been able to check out if this is the case for NC/VS
If I bought the armour, I wan't to be able to show it off, also camouflaging two tiny red bits on the leg armour isn't going to camouflage you any better, it would look better if those were retained
All of these need to be fixed, however releasing a new product without properly testing the camo on it is not acceptable, especially when we are paying for it
^This. I would love if all the gigantic red patches on my armor would actually look camouflaged, especially the red vest that takes up 75% of my chest.
Yup exactly the same as the composite problem with the decal, so sorry but this can go at the bottom of the list to be fixed since it's the newest.
The point I am making is that this is a new product, it should have been tested for this before release, we all know about the decal problem but its no excuse to release goods that are not tested properly Not to mention the fact that you cant show Decals on the new armour anyway
TR MAX Drakon armor is 200 SC while the other faction maxes are 150. Small, but still no reason something so miniscule as that to exist.
If I'm not mistaken it's like that on the composite armor too, that the thigh-guards of the Engi are completely covered by camo, unless they fixed it this patch. Been like that as long as I can remember.
Youre right, its a shame its like this, if it has those little red bits like the NC/VS equivilants have their own colour, it would add a lot more bulk to the engineer
What? Decals are not showing ? Why Soe call drakon armor "what you was requesting so long" ? we were requesting that decals shows on armor. So all drakon armor cover the decals ? for every class? meh
People had been asking for a slimmed version of composite is what they meant, they never said drakon would show decals.
Yeah funnily enough neither had I, but it's what SOE claimed as the reason for why they made it, well when I say made it I mean they removed some bits and re-sold it., wish they'd just fix composite to show decals.
Quite a few people have The only classes that don't cover decals with the new armor is the Heavy Assault
right. wanted to add this to this thread as well, only on HA with dracon armor you can see decal (as dracon armor have no shoulder pads or anything for a body, only under half of body is covered with dracon armor)
