Hello. I would like to change my character's gender but not their name. Would a name change token let me change my gender (and preferably keep the name). Thank you.
Unfortunately, no, the only change made will be to the current character name. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
This is a nice first step but as the others in the ps2 world will tell you... we would like to be able to change Gender and Server by purchasing a gender token and a server transfer token or... open up all the servers and allow us to play on whatever server we want to... If SOE is afraid of overstacking population of one faction on a server... just limit the number of total faction population to a third of the total server population. Example is if the SOE planetside 2 servers can accept 1500 users then allow 500 vanu, tr and nc to be on that server at a time... Just as a continent gets full it has a wait timer... so can a server be set up that way. Nice to have a name change token... now give us the other two please!!!

I too would have payed for a gender change, since I actually changed genders IRL, and my Planetside 2 character still reflects my old gender. It sucks a lot. SOE told me to suck it up and make a new character. FML
