Do we continue to support developers by continued purchases or do we let our wallets speak at our dislike for the current state of the game?

This is a question I present to you, the players. I know my answer, but I want to hear yours.

Edit: Before anyone asks, "What's your answer and why isn't in your post?" it's because I do not want my opinion to sway the opinions of others. The hivemind in communities is one that is easily influenced.

    Im on the fence.

On one side we have a terribly broken game at its core with clueless leadership.
    but...
on the other side there stuff I want to get for my character and 3xSC is the only thing that make the prices reasonable.

Game seems fine to me. The most fun I've had since the days of BF1942/BF2.

Depends on if you're happy with the way the game is playing out or not. I am, so I will drop some money down. If you aren't happy, then just don't pay.

^ this, and my dislike for this game is completely different from the majority of you. And I know it will never change the way I want it to, this games for casuals. So I'm enjoying it for what it is, I've spent 35bucks so far don't miss it and don't regret spending it.

Do what's best for you..... that's all there is to it.

If you're having fun (even with frustrations), give money so we can get more development and a more defined game.
If you're not having fun, walk with your wallet and leave until changes you're waiting for get put in.

    Simple.

Personally, the game is still very rough (mainly population issues) for me, but I'll still support the devs. I just want to see this mythical roadmap :)

Still like the game, still going to spend money. If you dont like it, dont play it. Follow your own advice, instead of pandering a rally cry to the vocal minority.

I vote with both my wallet and my playing time.

Sure, I'm pissed off with the state of the game. That said, Its only been what 3 weeks since release. I'm giving them a few months to correct the some of the major issues before I up and call it quits. I'm still spending some cash on stuff tho.

I think the whole HA Lock On Rocket and Decimater thing continues to anger me. Im not saying I won't and most likely will spend cash on the game. However, every time I dumb fire my Nemisis or feel forced to swap to a Decimater for Anti-Armor I feel like spending cash here is counter productive. I remain a customer but, the ice is thinning under the SOE shop for sure.

I could complain it's not 100% perfect but after a while you can clearly see nothing is fine and everything is tainted. I'm glad we have a great game that released in 2012 and hopefully it will mature into something we can all remember fondly as being the good old days.

Lovin it! Always room for improvements/tweaks but the teamplay and folks I play with are a blast and while there are some instances of feeling the pain of imbalance I can appreciate it isn't an easy thing to get right so I expected some vacillation as the game settles in.

I am really depressed because I changed my mind about purchasing anything on the 21st now.

Problem is, I already bought cards and I can't refund em so I will just cash in on 3x friday then I won't pay beyond that. Game is not doin so well on the lower pop servers. I don't want to re-roll either and lose a) 130 bucks worth of CS junk b) 1.7 mill exp and all the certs that came with that: re grinding is not an option.

PS2 really is not designed to retain players. It is nothing more than a ramped up BF3 with a cash shop. BF3 still trumps it all together due to fact you can actually win or lose games. In PS2 it's just a mindless cert farm and that get's old fast. The game bleeding players like mad due to that don't help either.

PS2 is not an MMO no matter what they say; it really has nothing to offer that most MMOs usually provide. When I think of MMO, I think EQ/WoW/GW2/Rift/UO/etc etc. Those were/are real MMOs. This is just a shooter with bigger maps. That alone will not retain players.

I understand that the game is not made exactly the way **I** want it to be. No game ever is, and if they did make all the changes that made **me** happy, than countless others would be irate. It's a compromise.

When I look at the game with an unbiased eye, I find that it's well made, well thought out, well balanced (in the scheme of games available) and the devs are constantly making adjustments. I personally see no reason to spout doom or gloom, and I truly enjoy my game time. Because of this, I will continue to spend and enhance my enjoyment.
