Some times ago I see an enemy and I ran behind him. In the exact time I turn the corner and I got him in my crosshair , he turn to me and shot me. I had a shotgun and I was a bit too far to damage him. I thought it was quite strange because of the timing.

Lately I'm seeing a strange behaviour too. Low lever BRs (but also medium ones) pull their guns all upside while shooting, until they shoot to the sky. It's something I almost never saw and I met many high level BRs.

Except the VS AP cannon has the LARGEST drop, the SLOWEST velocity and the LEAST gun elevation. How was it easier?

This is not a new hack it has been around for a few patches now. It is some sort of bullet stat hack.

About 2 or 3 weeks ago a few outfit members and I were flying as an esf squad. About 5-6 of us got gibbed by the same player with a decimator over the course of 20 mins and this was all while we were 500+ altitude. It seems like the hack basically alters the stats to velocity and bullet drop to some degree which allows the hackers to kill just about anything with a strong enough weapon.

Sadly due to the game being a FPS the clientside portion of the game requires some degree of control. Since the clientside portion of the game has so much control over the outcome of what happens it is easy for hackers to manipulate the game from their ends.

The only way for them to kill your plane like that is if it was by accident. Or you're flying in a straight line without moving.
If they did have an aimbot with it, it'll miss if you are moving around, since the velocity is extremely slow and the drop is high.

Go to your PS2 status killboard and see WHO actually killed your ESF using their magrider...Or show us yours and we'll check it.

Nah FPC one shot ESF all the time. We got some of the best mag drivers on waterson in our outfit and it is quite common for them to one shot ESF if they are too close or slow down for too long.

Sounds suspicious. I'll still say that all it takes is one Infiltrator, though. I've been spamming my maxed recon darts in the bases I am in and often we catch our opponents completely unaware. Been wondering how many times people get reported for that alone.

Acknowledging there actions is the worst thing you can possibly do. Just report them and move on. Let the GM's and Devs sort them out. Same goes for trolls

Did some google'ing and found the answer to the title of the thread to be yes. New versions of aimbots/CoF, some wall/radar hacks with even more supposedly "undetectable versions" on the way.

especially alot of talk of previously banned players bypassing there HWID bans by changing hard drives, mac, and ip addresses with some sort of program and they are also taking preventative measures to stay undetected. I would say SoE, the devs, and the GM's really need to step up there game in these next months.

Having said that I give them a couple weeks and they should be patched up and it should quiet down again. Until then just keep reporting suspicious players/activity's.

Do you mean stuff like memory manipulation for stuff like damage hacking and packet sniffers?

Haven't really seen any cheaters in-game lately, but YouTube has certainly been spammed with hack adverts for the past week.
Looking for daily new Planetside 2 videos brings up almost 33-50% hack/cheat clips...

One thing I have seen though, is the rise in spawn room shield explosive exploiting.

That's totally untrue. Bunches of VS weapons DO infact have bullet drop and to be honest it's kind of ****** that that "faction trait" isn't consistent.

That's your mistake right there - that server is absolute bad, including crazy cheating you won't see anything to this extent on other servers.

Where major fights have been totally ruined by a single cheater.

These folks aren't cheating to get ahead unlike your average aimbotter, they're just out there to outright grief and cause trouble.

Haven't seen the live GMs on recently looking for cheater callouts, hope they step up their game time at times like these.

BTW, I think people need to ease off on the aim bot callouts. If you hadn't noticed, the people who you are calling out and messaging.. yea, they arn't cheating, and they are sharing your stupidity with their friends, the world, ect. for a great laugh.

You see that crap? Those games are played by humans.. and they ENJOY that kind of stuff! So yea.. there are people out there with amazing hand coordination. Just report em and move on, let someone who had the tools to look in on them find the truth.

Its really not that hard to hit an ESF with a tank. I barely have any experience at all in vehicles and I can do it sometimes.

Pretty much ensure its pay to win...Don't think that will go over very well.
