Delayed Damage Registration

    The fix on the month-long bug with damage registration - players shoot each other for seconds at a time, both hide behind cover, both drop dead - has been fixed.

    Recently, since this or last week, damage registration although it works has a delay: clear shield shimmer and damage to other player, no consistent hit markers, and delayed hit registration.

    I can tell the damage goes through as the player appears to have taken the damage dealt, when death screen happens to show reliable health and shield, or the player dies despite few hit markers as expected.

    Strongly suspecting this is adversely affecting high RoF weapons, since they rely on that slight edge in damage output. The result is both players dropping dead, or being at a further disadvantage with high RoF weapons.
