...i notice not that many other people are callning for just granging the xp for a kill, deconstruct, suicide or logoff kill anyway-

you guys actually prefer the timers? Even though that will make the stealth-insertion part of our playerbase leave?

its a xp problem, so why not just fix it on the xp side- so you can't deny xp?

P.S. I'm serious about that. If these guys are really doing it to prevent "enemies" from getting xp, then this would make them stop.

Kind of does, the only exception is if a co-pilot is in it.

Just because they disabled decon doesn't mean I can't still dive into the ground, which accomplishes the same thing.

I'm all for giving the killer his due, but I don't think the suicider should be penalized. There are a few things you just don't put in a game, like random deaths, save points BEFORE a long movie sequence and negative XP penalties .

... Why would I say that I "foresaw" you saying something you neither did say, nor were likely to say? You must realize, I'm not going to restrict myself to making a double post just to reply to you and the general direction of the thread at once, which has allot of people suggesting there should be log out timers. You're not helping rectify that situation by just saying "it's bad practice bro" and not pointing out why it won't work.

Someone's gotta step up to the plate, sorry that I offended you by doing just that... the topic happened to play rather nicely into my post and gave it substance, so that we weren't just bickering about the same thing like old folks with extreme dementia.

Yeah exactly.. the deconstruct button is nothing but a troll mechanic.. that is literally all its good for. Actually rather than timers I think what if it took say 10 seconds to deconstruct same as redeploy and the button was greyed out entirely unless the vehicle was 100% health. So.. if the guy can manage to get away from me.. and manage to find a spot to land and repair it to full.. then *sure* he can then deconstruct.

But again there was no reason for it to be in the game in the first place, this change plus the massive boost to kill assist exp on vehicles changed my entire experience this morning.. I am predicting we will be seeing *alot* more fully manned Libs and alot *less* lone man Galaxies

Oh yeah.. and a 10 second log out timer for sure.

If you would take your own advice and use your brain before posting, you'd realize that the thread is about the developers taking away the ability to deconstruct because people would do it right before dying to annoy other players. Someone said they'd just log out now to annoy people instead. I said that doing that is just rude.

If you can't understand that, well I could really care less by now. I do not care to debate about restrictions on logging out, because that is not what this thread was started for.

I never said I suicide bail, I said I drive my Aircraft into the ground and take a suicide. You get assist XP if you caused damage to my Aircraft but not for the the driver. If you can't shoot me down before I drive it into the ground or a mtn then that's your problem.

Again all I see is crying for more free xp. You gotta work for it son.

All I see is a griefer that would rather kill himself than let the superior pilot earn the experience they deserve.

When a vehicle explodes/deconstructs it should give the last enemy to cause damage full xp. That would fix everything. No fancy/irritating timers.

I just wanted to say thank you SoE for this. It really has changed my gameplay experience from mostly fun with some very frustrating moments, to pure bliss through and through <3!

If the superior pilot was so superior they would have shot me down before I could kill myself. Nothing grief about it. Just QQ.

You're just stupid, It take no skill to hit your eject button, or nose dive into the ground. It's just ****** mechanics to give crappy players like yourself no skill, XP denial buttons. It's in the game, but the fact you feel like you're proud, litterally for hitting a button on your keyboard goes to show a) you're just easily amused and enjoy griefing, and b) Higby is a no skill troll for intentionally implementing a no skill button to XP deny in the first place.

Get in the air where nothing has changed and it's just mostly frustration and suiciding before praising this "fix" that really amounts to nothing more then polishing a turd.

Pressing one key on your keyboard to INSTANTLY suicide drop. What's the counter to that?

Maybe you should /suicide at the warp gate all day long. Then clap yourself on the back because you beat the game!
