After immediately decloaking and trying to shoot, it seems that I am unable to until the sound fully plays out. Is this intentional? Because I find it incredibly annoying after staking out a shot with my RAMS, decloaking, then finding out that I am unable to shoot.
Yes it's intentional. There is a delay there to give the server time to let other people's clients know you are decloaking so that it doesn't seem like other infils are firing while cloaked. You get used to it after awhile and it's not a huge deal, but it is yet another reason as to why you shouldn't try to 1v1 someone head on else you're confident in your abilities.
