Dear SOE, Europe also want to play the game

First time in a while were i actually have some free time for playing and the Servers are down during prime time again. And since there will be another update later this week this probably wont be the last time.

You know that it wont be finished at time most of the time, we know that it wont be finished at time most of the time, so would you please just update the US Servers first and when you figured out how it is done and EU downtime is comeing to an end you update the EU Servers?

There's nothing stopping you from playing at the same time as US peak hours

Wouldn't it be great if ALL of europe wanted to play the game instead of some of us and ALL of the germans.

You do know that US and EU times are mostly different? I can be 6am in US and 4pm in EU

I live in the United States (of America), so my father takes care of that. I'm sorry to hear about your unfortunate circumstances, but it seems like you obviously have some priorities aside from Planetside 2, so I don't know why you would complain about sub optimal times for maintenance in a video game

Well, I just canceled my membership.

To me, membership did not mean additional XP (I don't care, BR means nothing in this game and I'm almost fully certed) , additional ressources (I don't need it) or SC (I don't care about aesthetics). It meant that I supported the development of this F2P game.

But I'm getting tired of how SOE gives no sh*t about EU players and players in general (see massive nerfs of weapons once huge amounts of people have bought it without any form or compensation, so that they buy the new generation that is magically released 2 months later).

So no, I don't want to support this anymore and won't give 1 more cent to these guys.

No hypocrisy: I'll still play. I love the game. It's its decision makers' behaviour that I don't like.

Look on the bright side - it's usually down during Primetime in the US too because they screw up the patching and go 12+ hours overdue.

In my country, the United States (of America), it's legal to sleep whenever you want

EU Prime Time is not from 3 - 5 PM CET. Our normal downtime for all servers is during that time period. We are a West Coast company and we have found that this time frame works the best for us in order to ensure that our staff is on site and this does not affect our player's prime play times.

Sometimes we have extended downtime and for that we apologize, but all we can do is do our best to continue to communicate with everyone and let you know when the servers will come back up.
