Every other shot is a misfire. WTF.... you bll00dy nerfed the **** to uselessness with its ridiculous lock on time. The ones I do manage to get a lock on, poof a beautiful multicolored flower pops out and waves at the enemy.

You should join TR. They have pre-nerf Annihilator. Make sure you complain that it's "no good" though.
Its been like this FOR A WHILE!!! I keep reporting it as a bug. Far as I can tell, its done this since all the new ESRLs appeared some (2/3?) game updates ago. The slight damage buff is a joke - its just stupid bugged.
It's not a bug. Just a cynical attempt by the developers to make you roll your eyes in frustration and buy something else, which will, in turn, eventually be nerfed.
Somehow, as crazy as your statement sounds, I do believe it. Come to think of it - that must be why they did this senseless carbine nerf too... to get more people to buy shotguns!
I guess it has some situational use. I imagine it more of a time saver if there's air and tanks and you don't want to keep switching loadouts.
That was the only lock on launcher I purchased. So, for now that is the only option I have for air. Anyway, I knew the bug has been there for a while; last night was especially horrible.
