Crossbow Explosive Idea

    Instead of blowing up on contact how about you get 1 round per mag and it acts like a sticky nade with a 2-3 sec fuse. Lower the velocity and give it an arc. Make it hard to hit people but rewarding if you do so. And no, not RNG, it should be actually learnable and require some skill not luck. 1 stick should get a kill unless they are wearing flak. Also because of the fuse you could stick someone as they run behind a shield and maybe blow up a guy or two extra(If they were really close).

    So it's upside would be its technically a 1 hit kill and once mastered it would be an extremely dangerous weapon. But the downside would be it having a slow firing rate and if you end up needing it for a duel you may make your shot, but before it blows up he has a couple seconds to shoot you back.

    As for vehicles, you'll still have to be close and it should take every bolt you can carry(5 or 6) to blow up a tank in the rear. It's slow fire rate would give the vehicles a chance to either move or kill the shooter. But if it's used in coordination with a group it would be very useful. Also, since it has a slow ttk it would not make c4 obsolete.

    I believe this adaptation would add a new mechanic and would give us something fun and new to learn and try. As long as it is balanced right between velocity and accuracy it could be a great addition to this game.

    Let me get this straight ....


    You are asking for a oneshotkill weapon you can shoot at the enemy and then just run away to await for the kill notification ? All this while under the new forevercloak protection?

    You are right ... what about this doesent sound fun ?
