PS2 hangs every time I warp to another continent. That is all. Other than that's the reason I left BF4 due to all the crashing. Running out of options to go to
Got the same problem here, the game freezes when I change the characters or warp to another continents.
Same here guys and so have loads of others, I've raised a support case but nothing fixed yet. Quite tedious that there seems to be more downtime and issues now than actual uptime and available gameplay. So utterly sick of this crap! SELECT * FROM devs WHERE clue >0. 0 rows returned
I assume this will be the situation until the next patch day. I moved to other games right now ps2 is basically unplayable.
This happens for me too if I try to do it from the map screen, but it works when you go the warpgate and use the terminal on there to change continent. Might be a bit slower than doing it directly from the map screen, but a lot faster than crashing and restarting the game, so you guys might want to try it.
I happens to me from the warpgate. It'll freeze them have to close with task manager. Once I boot PS2 back up I'm on the continent I was trying to get to.
Same exact problem here. Game freezes then crashes when trying to warp to another continent. No this does not happen in any other game, just PS2. Yes I keep my drivers up to date.
Have to restart my game every time i need to switch continents. Game freezes when i try, when i restart the game, i boot at the continent i was trying to switch to
I pretty much have to restart on continent change also. The memory leak in the 64 bit client is huge! I have been mentally tracking how bad it is and it seems that after about an hour the leak pushes PS2 over the 3GB mark and framerate drops and stutters start. If I am prepping for a big fight I just restart to keep the framerate high. I also noticed the framerate drops and stutters are independent of how big a battle is. I was getting stutters at an empty base.
The same here as well. Really, really annoying. The game just becomes worse and worse in this regard.
Same thing here, sometimes I wonder if SOE check if their employees actually know their job. This game is a melting pot of atrocious programming issues.
I am in the same boat. It gets really bad on cross continent alerts. To the point that I basically might as well stop playing. I have also noticed this same problem in bio labs, although not as consistently (meaning sometimes it crashes, others it does not).
I spend $50 a month on this game and Have been playing for over a year, everytime you think you are fixing this game, you are breaking it,if you want to lose a paying customer, you are on the right track,I can't believe that we cannot transport from one to the other without crashing..I WILL TERMINATE MY MEMBERSHIP IF THIS IS NOT TAKING CARE OF IN 2 BUISNESS DAYS
