Crashed 3 times last night (64bit, ATI Card)

You just bricked your PS2 installation. You probably need to reinstall now.

Well... not exactly. After Steam finished the PS2 launcher did d/l and (re)install another 8GB of files... probably those same 300 Steam just replaced.

All that didn't work, but performing a clean uninstall/reinstall of the latest Intel HD4600 drivers plus the Nvidia 332.21 driver fixed it

It was written million times to not run Steam validation because it will replace up to date files with old ones.

Intel drivers are lately causing much trouble combined with Nvidia ones, not just with PS2. If you are on desktop computer and not using them, it's easy to disable it in BIOS.

I crashed three times last night as well. No error at all, just the game froze for like 2 seconds then quit and closed itself out. Had to restart PS2 which is a hassle because as I am a usual platoon leader, this slows down tactics in an alert from being done and orders being issued, and me having to beg to a random guy for my platoon lead back from when i disconnected. I honestly hope the 64-bit client fixes these issues.

What makes you think I need to go in my BIOS and start fiddling with things?

Inexperience, he is seeing errors where no errors are.

As you're saying you have ram speeds that you shouldn't have.
    What's so difficult to understand?
  8. Octiceps

What are you talking about? Clock speed and timings in OP look perfectly normal for DDR3-1333. 668 MHz x 2 = ~1333 MHz DDR. CPU-Z and a bunch of other monitoring/diagnostic tools report RAM speeds the same way.

@OP you're not alone. Everyone and his dog is crashing out of this game because of the 64-bit client. This is the third time it's been released to massive fail because SOE can't QA it properly if their lives depended on it.

I'd suggest taking a break from this game and checking back in a week.
