Twas 8 days before christmas, and the SOE servers were down, They couldn't find the on/off button, twas no where to be found, They looked through their data and scoured the boards, but no solution was available and non they could afford.

They whipped their IT workers harder than ever but their numbers were too few, So they did what any middle manager would do. They promised a solution, perhaps too soon. As the servers stayed down, the players frowned and wodnered how they'd survive until one player stepped outside and realized that life was about being alive.

And despite the servers being down, that player didn't care, because he enjoyed the day outside and with it some fresh air. As for SOE and the fate of planet side 2,lets just say they were all still royaly screwed

I am not complaining I just started playing the f2p and the game is allot of fun I do feel for the people that have payed for the extra things but I really doubt that SOE will screw over the Paying customer, and to get all Poed about it and assuming you are going to get screwed is o me anyway a waste of time it would be very bad for business for SOE to not basically freeze everything the way it is until everything is fixed then unfreeze it.
I actually believe that everything would be fixed by the weekend , but just in case I have my web browser with one of the Tabs open to the main forum page to see what the server status is ( I press F5 every 20 minutes lol)

Some people wait several months for a new game to come to market, i.e. Battlefield 4, Tribes 3 and 4 etc. and when it finally does they play it for one day and never again because it sucks. At least with the Planetside series you know the product is good and the Developers are constantly striving to make it better. They consistently try to stop the hacking while bringing many new things to the game keeping it fresh.

I've been online gaming for 25 years (I'm 55 years old) and I can tell you that most games get one or two updates after release and then the producers take a hike within 2 years at most. We are now in year two of the second version of Planetside, a free to play massive multiplayer online game with graphics and options that cannot compare to any other game anywhere at any time ever and some people here sound like spoiled brats who don't know when they've got it good. No one if forcing anybody to buy station cash and doing so does not give anyone special rights to complain or expect preferential treatment.

I would wait as long as it takes, even several months, for any game as good as this one to be updated and refreshed and although I may not like the problems or the wait for fixes, I have never felt abandoned by the staff. Even when I have an issue that requires customer support regarding my own problems or someone else's, I take comfort in the fact I at least have an avenue of resolution I can travel.

I'm sure in time everyone's issues will eventually be resolved if you'll just be patient, communicate politely with customer support and give them a chance to deal with what in my estimate must be on its' way to almost a quarter of a billion or more lines of code. Which is by the way built specifically for your gaming pleasure,,, free of charge!
