So the current state of the server I am on. These are not land control percentages, but rather faction population percentages. Indar ------- TR: 69% VS: 19% NC: 9% Esamir ---------- TR: 22% VS: 20% NC: 56% Amerish ------------ TR: 12% VS: 66% NC: 21% Yeah that's right. All TR are flocking to Indar, all NC are flocking to Esamir, and all VS are flocking to Amerish. Any plans to implement some kind of continent warping restrictions that say, "Sorry you've got too many players there at the moment" to help force some semblance of continent population balance to prevent these faction stacks? As you can imagine based on the populations above each continent is essentially double warpgate locked. The fights are boring as its big zerg vs defenseless factions. Then more people get sick of being locked so they continent warp making the problem even worse. Or do people think its better this way?
I think this is the biggest thing wrong with the game right now. The second being that the only way to properly and effectively express my hatred for enemy aircraft is with a max suit armed with bursters or a mosquito armed with air to air missiles (Where is the properly effective anti aircraft weapons for ground vehicles? i'd pay good money for a flak sunderer). But on my server (lithcorp) Amerish belongs to NC and Esamir belongs to Vanu, Indar occasionally belongs to TR....and it SUCKS. It means to go to Amerish or Indar (as TR, which i play) means to fight unfun battles against hordes of flaccid cowards.
Every continent is capped at 650 players per faction for a total of 1,950 players. It is the hard cap. No faction can ever have more than 650 on that continent and have to wait for someone to crash or exit before coming in when that cap is reached. In total every server holds 5,850 players when full. Are you asking for player lock outs? Something where your side has 20 and they can only bring 20 also? Locking out 1,260 players from the continent.
