Please stop working on a non-battle oriented lobby. If you work on construction please follow these principles: 1. Understand effort vs reward. This means DECREASE the time it takes for a structure to form, and instead of making them WEAKER during that form time, make them STRONGER. Decrease the time it takes to build in general. INCREASE EVERY OBJECTS HITPOINT POOL. 2. Remove UNNECESSARY art from the objects. Case in point, vehicle gates, why the stairs? They just make placement hard for NO BENEFIT. 3. If a builder has purchased an item and is killed...HE LOSES THAT OBJECT. Why? bad design. Fix it. Objects need to remain through death. No excuses based on "design". They need to remain through death...why? Have you ever tried to place an object? IT ISN'T EASY. You get sniped when doing it... Play test your game. 4. Give ANTS an option to remove a top gun in favor of a much higher HP pool. Ever gather 10K cortium only to be blown up on the way to a base? No? PLAY TEST YOUR GAME. 5. Decrease the footprint of objects. Vehicle terminals, too large. The building with the infantry terminal, too large. Have you ever tried to place an object? NO? PLAY TEST YOUR GAME. 6. REDUCE ARTILLERY AND ORBITAL DAMAGE ON PLAYER MADE BASES. Have you ever spent an hour building a large base when a guy decides to build just a silo, an orbital and flail and BOOM all your work is gone? NO? PLAY TEST YOUR GAME. Oh you say I should just build a silo and orbital too? THEN WHY DID YOU ADD SO MANY ITEMS INTO THE CONSTRUCTION MENU? PLAY. TEST. YOUR. GAME. Am I annoyed? Yes. Why? One of the last major updates to the game was an idiotic spawn revamp. Meanwhile..see above. Ever try to defend your base when it's under attack but a certain "designer" decided you have to wait 60 seconds? NO? PLAY TEST YOUR GAME. FYI: We don't PLAY the game to WAIT To spawn. You guys have a real gem on your hands and you keep crapping all over it. YOU NEED BETTER MINDS ON THIS GAME. Thank you, your friendly Toxic PAYING customer. FYI: If you don't have anyone on staff who can rework objects...then you are not staffed correctly.
1. I wouldn't agree with increasing hit points on every object but certainly on turrets. It is far too easy for a single tank to take down turrets within seconds. Especially the Prowler. One way around this would be to have the Structure Shield Module work on turrets to make it invulnerable temporarily. This already works well (by holding 'E' on the shield module) with the garage and other things with shield. 2. Yes, unneeded polygons on the Vehicle Gate. Maybe fix the repair on that thing as it's really difficult to find the repair part. 3. I don't see why not. 4. ANTS already have extra HP with the use of Cortium. They also have invisibility or Speed boost. More than enough to survive out there. I'm mainly an ANT driver so i know. One thing that does bug me is hitting a bump sometimes turns the vehicle upside down with no way to recover. 5. yep. 6. ORBITAL DAMAGE is fine because you know it's coming by looking at the map. The counter is to have OS up and running first. The Flail is fine as it doesn't get past Skywall Shield Emitter (unless they changed that?). The real problem is the Glaive IPC taking down Skywall Shield. Stopping it from affecting Skywall Shield would fix this. 7. There's a good reason for spawn timer, it's to keep things balanced. There's also a Routing Spire that may allow you to spawn faster, not sure.
