I have nearly had enough, playing for over a year now. Majority of time i cannot control my player, the stutter and stop start in game is going to end my time with P2. I cant fly, i cant gun for my outfit when flying, i cant run when more than 5 players are near me, i have resorted to turning everything down and up, regarding settings. As time goes on this game is getting worse for my system or something else, i have not got a bad system nor a fantastic system, but i have never known a game with so much stutter and freeze framing, i check everything and all is well above required requirements, and yet some days the game plays as it should do, like a dream. but most like a bag of frelling smeg. WHY ! I play on cobalt server, when i first started playing never a problem ever ! and now total skull duggery`s. I uninstalled the game and that was it, however i do like this game and so i am re-installing it and have my fingers crossed, if the ridiculous stutter persists then im gonna call it a day and i will let people know my feelings and the problems i have had, i have spent money in game so as you can imagine i want the frelling thing to work or rather stop stuttering, PLEASE SORT THIS OUT, IF MY NAME NOT UP THEN KALTONIAN IS THE NAME........BETTER RED THAN DEAD.....
I feel your pain !! I been having same problems as well . I have to much invested at this point to give up. Think ill take a break from it for a bit and see if it gets any better. I sometimes think SOE has handicapped my player or the little guy in the internet is foolin with my connection lol , but think its just gotten to the point they dont know how to fix it and are struggling for answers. I can remember one update and my game was awesome for like a week, then patch came out, and went to **** many moons ago and has never come back !!
Seems like hot fixes are comming very slow, I expected 3 Hotfixes in the first day. They know about the sutter because I see the comments on reddit - there is memory leak /shutter / z-axis not painting / missing layers / and more... they really broak it bad this time. This could take several months to get it back in order again. Almost evey aspect of some section of the game is broaken. I know on reddit they have 3 or 4 hotfixes in the works... how long does it take to push a hot fix out. And one fix requires the servers to come down....????
HI, great to have a response to my grumblings, you know what after i uninstalled all of P2 even the direct link to download game when main game uninstalled i turned off PC did a complete system clean so no conflicting programs running, i re-installed game and run game with the settings that it wanted as it were, it ran like a dream. So i think i had 2 instalations of game, the SOE & ProSieben might have been conflicting with each other, also i run a 64bit system and get the message after game that some firewalls need addressing please allow access, which i did not do. So why did SOE fail to mention that it might be a good idea to uninstall game so as to have fresh & up to date files ??????? instead. It is early days though and i will keep you posted as to the stutter returning. Also to those guys who might say i should have done what i did in the 1st place, well you should`nt have to it is something that the game developers should account for within the patches, thats what patches are for, yeah ! To the rest of you i hope that this will help some of you, because i was getiing well frelled with it, SO GOOD LUCK ! will keep you posted.
Your not wrong how long indeed, i now have stutter when i change continents when in game, i have to exit game in order to re- login to get rid of the stutter, so yeah your right about leak as its not robust enough to hold together.
