OK, so it seems like everyone is in the know about this supposed new AV Sniper Rifle.All but me.I have a few questions: 1)Is it Bolt Action? 2)Is it NS? 3)Will it kill infantry? 4)Does all this mean that we might get an Anti infantry bolt action nanite systems snioer rifle?
1) Don't Know. 2) Yes 3) Yes, but I don't expect it to OHK. (so Unsure of damage) 4) No Idea. Some things were in the works before DBG took over. I'm guessing they're just finishing that stuff.
1) Probably. Infantry AV weapons tend to have very low rates of fire. 4) I doubt it. There's not much design space left for one. The copy-pasted guns span the reasonable tiers of velocity. The ES rifles cover some other quirky mechanics that can work (sort of). I guess a high-velocity, long-range semi-auto sniper is still possible, but the devs would do better to make the existing semi-autos viable, first.
