Composite helmets on sale again

Auuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh. Put up some different helmets for once! I'm sick of seeing composite helmets being the only type that's ever, ever on sale. The best thing? Not only are they in a bundle sale (A crappy one, mind you, since the bundle has been cheaper than 15% off before), but the Light Assault helmet is also on the general sale! For pete's sakes, put up a different helmet on sale! The hockey mask, the illuminated, the bravo...something!

Every time I see the composite helmets on the sale page, I just sadly shake my head.

The TR Composite Armor is one of the worst aesthetically, imo.
At least the VS decals overlap their Composite Armor.

Or maybe they should bundle the composite armors. I have most of them so i can't really make any use of it but it would be something.
Also agree on the other bundles. We now have maniac helmets,we have spiked things,skull helmets,those apex things,and now all the helms of the new gen are also finished. So why don't we see them in a bundle? They would probably sell well.

No they don't. You can only see a part of the decal,a small one.

Composite helmets on sale? Probably getting a nerf.

I always thought that the NC Nightstriker looks so out of place compared to the body armor that the NC get to wear. Its one reason why I prefer to keep using my Gundam helmets.

I think the Nightstriker and the other two helmets would look better on a brand new set of armor that's totally redesigned rather than add-ons to the current model. The Nightstriker would look good on a full suit of polished powered armor, for example.

Pretty sure the LA composite helmet wasn't on sale alone before. I guess all of them have been on sale alone now.

Agreed. At least with the recent helmets, Colossus and Dreadnought for the TR, we've gotten a good hand for once.. but that was after how long? Most helmets prior to that, I dare say Bravo even, wasn't even close to be decent.

And our armor still, just herps.
Although the Ogre Armor for the MAX, another new release, is very nice.

After the VS color change the Protos helms are in a weird place too. They should be black or a really dark grey for them to fit the new color scheme but i don't think they'll change them.

All of the TR composite helmets look better than the goofy **** like the skull helmets and maniac helms.

Now if I could get a chainsaw to go with the maniac helmet that would be a different story...

TR have the chainblade. Just spam that and you're good to go. It's close enough

VS are far and away the worst art\models in the game.

And the high heeled boots max...all you guys need is the purse cosmetic to complete the "i'm a sci-fi post op tranny" look.

We really do need a complete model remake imo. But at least until then we can laugh on how other factions got beat up by people in spandex and high heels. It's not much but it's something

I'm counting on SOE to deliver new Dreadnaught, Nightstriker, and Hyperion armors for each class, we just have to keep in mind that they'll essentially develop three for each empire (infil + HA + the other three.)

Well, the new armors doesn't have to be too terribly different from each other for each class. Throw out the old playermodel armor, do a whole new set that relies more on adding or subtracting parts for the different classes. Since its technically just another composite armor, they don't have to take into account a third set of composite on top of it.

I'm waiting for my NC corporate-elite powered armor, SOE. I'll even buy the Nightstriker to go along with it, you know.

Eh... I'm hoping infils and the medic/engi/LA look get more armor overall that makes them look tough like the heavy, but not exactly like the heavy (yes, I want a medium/heavy armor looking infil, like what NC composite does to theirs.) The current composite really is a matter of overall using the same pieces for each class, just some classes have more pieces than others.

Infil < LA < Medic < Engi < Heavy in terms of coverage with current composites.

But that's not true. The only composite that shows the decals at all is the HA, and that still cover half the damn decal. It's a problem for all the factions.

I'm just tired of seeing the same helmets on sale over and over again when they have released plenty of others at this point. No, I don't expect the newest ones to be half off already, but seeing the maniac, bravo, ect... helmets on sale once in a while would be nice.
