On an EM6? I know it shows you on the map I never used it so I was curious as to if it adds damage to your weapon or just moves it up while firing? Or is it better to get the Supressor or Flash Supressor?
I think it is on LMG's, seeing as they are inherently better at longer distances than many other weapon types. However I rarely think the trade off is worth it for most Carbines. Oh, and about the compensator itself, it just reduces your vertical recoil slightly. Handy if you're the type to roll in zergs, or generally engage at medium distances, but it also increases the size of your crosshairs when hip-firing. This sucks for close quarters combat.
I do pretty well in close quarters with it. In long range man I was wiping out Vanu underneath the TI alloy/Crown bridge.
