Day after day, we are stuck on loading screen, and if by any chance wemanage to get ONLINE, the lag is UNBEARABLE. 100+ ms for every player, on a good day, while playing from EU ,loging to an EU server... Now, couple that with the client time response and server tick rate, updating our data we look at a minimum of 200 ping EACH of us, no matter what ISP or from what country in EU we are playing. For a fps game, this is unsustainable. All of this while the USA and AU players enjoy stable connection, and reliable loggings,not needing to waste HOURS to log in . SOE should compensate all players in Miller and Cobalt for this disaster, all accounts older than a week should be compensated . Cobalt and Miller still unreachable !!!
I wouldn't count on it. Kinda shows how the community just takes whatever they're given which is sad. First I had to wait about 15 minutes or so to finally be able to log in, then after a while I get insane framedrops (down to 0 for several seconds) presumably because of the memory leak(s) and then they lock the two servers that I have all my characters on.. I might as well stop playing if this **** keeps happening which it probably will knowing how bad SOE is at maintaining their own game. From monday till friday there aren't that many big fights and then when it's finally prime time in the weekend the servers get locked or the above problems keep occurring. Maybe getting All Acces Membership will help lol.
sounds Fair but i would not Count on it. Something like Double Certs Weekend for all or Booster for everone
It's annoying but at least they're trying to sort things out. It is kind of mindboggling though that downtimes happen on such a frequent basis. Like almost every day during prime time day lately. It's time for a proper fix instead of those band aid solutions.
No ! No double XP weekend (where you can't play) ! No stupid boosters which run out of time while the servers are down ! A real compensation for everyone - 5k certs !!!
I've had a useless Membership this month, i demand a 0 charge for 1 month! I'm not a multi SOE game player so my membership was almost useless! 13 euros gone for nothing.
PS2 already had problems with lag and hit detection before the server merge, but after the merge everything got worse. Massive lag, many downtimes, very long login queues, compressed incoming damage, etc. I spent 130€ on PS2 and all i have now is a buggy, laggy FPS game with poor performance. The game has MORE bugs, lag and performance problems than 1 year ago! Some sort of compensation is definitetly needed.
I'd honestly simply be satisfied with a humble most sincere apologies and a proper, and I mean proper, addressing of the issue and the current situation at hand. Simply giving a hand wave and saying "Yeah sorry for the log in times, we try to work on a fix" doesn't truly give that much of a comfort after there has been on-going issues ever since the merge. This issue does call, in my opinion, for strong actions. Such actions may naturally take time, but this situation should be addressed properly or it will keep tarnishing the reputation of this game for far longer than it should. Nobody would like that. Surely wouldn't say a no were some form of bribery be given to us as a compensation as long as the issue at hand would be solved and properly addressed as well. *rolleyes*
A heroic boost (6 months) would be really awesome as compensation, but i think we will only get 1 double XP weekend. 2 days of double XP for over 2 weeks of laggy, buggy servers ... if you dont have time to play on these 2 days you get no compensation at all. As compensation, i suggest 1000CERT for every char or something else that doesnt require you to play the game on a specific day.
I don't care if they throw certs at us for this cockup, If this situation continues, I'm out, compensation be damned.
First they turned this game to a huge zerg fest with last update and then they choose to merg servers so we all get 170+ ping and then they added the log in queue so we have to wait 5 min before we get logged in. I think it is time for a break from this game, SoE doesn't want me here so i will go play something else. GG
The problem is when SOE address a problem they make 2 more. And SOE won't spend the extra money on better servers, the history on this forum shows it sadly.
